I love helping and taking care of the elderly

Hi, my name is Mikia I have been in the caregiving field 3 years. I enjoy getting to know and listen to the ones I am providing services to. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I was ten years old , having to assist my grandmother who leg was amputated. I enjoyed helping at a young age toileting, assisting her with grooming and hygiene. Since that moment I realized that this was something that I had a passion for even in my adult age. I love seeing the smiles knowing that I was able to make that persons day, allowing them to experience good care from a positive minded , caring person. I'm proud of what I do and I would like to make my residents proud knowing that they have a caregiver that they can trust

The personality traits that make me a great caregiver is patients, love and compassion. I decided to become a caregiver because I was a home health aide for my elderly neighbor she's the reason I decided to go back to school to become a Medical Assistant and later graduated unfortunately she past away before she could see my accomplishment she was so proud of me. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating Allen School of Health Science and being able to work in a field that I can help others.

Being a hard working and also being kind, caring and having patience and observant along with being aware makes me a great caregiver. I enjoy the satisfaction of the patients reactions to the good work I do. It makes me proud and happy and motivated to know that I'm doing something to help someone that's in need have a better day and help make their lives more easier to get through and know that they have someone around who don't mind helping and cares.

Hello! My name is Nakeisha Woods. I've been a Caregiver/CNA for 6 years. My first job in life was working as a private duty caregiver in an assisted living facility. I enjoyed working with seniors so much, I made my mind up to make it my career. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is having the chance to experience that meaningful relationship with your clients. Since my grandparents passed before I was born, it's a plus to get to feel what it's like to have a grandparent, and take a trip down memory with them day by day. One personal achievement I'm proud of is my decision to go back to school. I currently attend Moraine Valley, pursing their Nursing program. If all goes well, I plan to become a private duty RN, maybe have my own company one day!

I've been in the medical field for 20 years, I've work with patients with multiple health care needs. I enjoy being able to care for those that need assistance in their daily lives.

I am a great fit for a caregiver because I am very compassionate and patient. I have a need and want to help. I have over 2 years experience and I am willing to take on any classes to better myself in the field that I am in.

I have alot of compassion towards their feelings. 4. My name is Diane Ratliff and I'm happily married for 30 yrs. I have 2 beautiful children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. I have resided at my resistance for 30 yrs and I have a dog and fish tank they are my babies. I have worked in my field for a little over 25 yrs in a variety of settings from Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Private Duty to Home Health. I really Love what I do especially when I bring just a glimmer of a smile because of my care for my patients and their families.

I am a great care giver because I love helping other young or older. I want people to help me once I'm not able to do things on my own plus someone who would provide care to my family as well. helping others shouldn't be a problem to anyone because at some point of time everyone is going to need a little help and some might need more help then others. I recently just finished taking my nursing classes for a CNA position and soon to return for my LPN because I'm all about helping others in need of it and more. I enjoy having conversations with people I'm a very talkative person and I like to know how others day is going for them. I have two toddlers that I clean teach and care for and its a big job that I love doing and I'm so good at it I want to help others just like I'm helping my grandmother recover from the cancer treatments and surgeries because she needs me so I want to be that person that is willing to help those in need that just me.

I became a caregiver because of the fact that I Love to help others. I have been a caregiver since I was 8yrs old taking care of my ill grandmother and my uncle that had lung cancer. I like being a caregiver to render my services to love to those we need it.

I love what i do.I first started by volunteering at my aunts senior community that she runs and i loved it.from there i became my mothers caregiver when she had her stroke.I worked for an agency for years then i got my own client which he just passed away in June 2201.Im a great caregiver i have great references,i have patience,experience,reliable and genuinely love what i do.

I Have Been A Caregiver For 26yrs.I enjoy helping people especially when they do not have family or just not feeling well.When I could make them smile that lets me know that I am appreciated and I know at the end of the day I made someone feel just a little bit better than the day before..I am reliable,honest and I can get the job done..I attended the Alzheimers walk at the Atlanta Zoo and completed the Alzheimers course.

Iam 43 yrs old. I have been being a caregiver for 20 yrs i have a great deal of patient i love my job. As a cargiver ans a companion i have always put my clients first and always will. I make sure they are clean make sure they are well fed. Love to cook. I make sure they have their meds very important i dont mind sitting with them and talking i love to make sure they go outside if they are able i feel fresh air is important. I do have a famiy but my children are older so i spend most of my time with my clients and i love doing it

I am a great caregiver because I have been doing it my whole life. I grew up with an elderly father so from the age of about 12 until now I have been taking care of him. From cleaning up for him behind him, and cleaning him I have done it all and am willing to do it all again for other people. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that I'm helping somebody that can't help themselves, Not to say it in a bragging manner but in a proud honor because i know if they could they would do it themselves. I see it as paying good favors forward because when I am old I hope someone does the same for me.
