I am a compassionate, skilled worker who can work long hours and accomplish several tasks at once. I was brought on into caregiving because of my brother John, who is quadriplegic, and a handful when he knew I would be around. I learned a lot through specific classes, yet also a lot just by him instructing me. I enjoy my work because it is a passion of mine to give great service to those who cant, but also I've seen what bad or mediocre service can do in the long run. A personal achievement of mine, that I am proud of, was spending a year and 6 months in Biloxi, MS helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

I've been a caregiver for 6 years now! My experience range from assisting individuals with ALS, Dementia, Alzheimer's, as will as Hospice. Other work I've done is with individuals whom have physical challenges (needs wheel chair or hoyer lifts etc). What I love most about caregiving is the time spent caring for the individual. I particularly love learning, asking questions and helping people. I get to do all three as a caregiver! As such, I am proud of my eagerness and determination for growth and betterment not only for others but myself as well. To be of great service!

It brings me great joy and satisfaction to provide excellent care and support for seniors or individuals with special needs. I am kind, compassionate, empathetic, hard working, and very easy to talk to. I have a total of 14 years of experience working with seniors in different roles starting when I was in high school. I light up around seniors and love to make their quality of life better than when I start. I worked with a client in the past who was able to stay in her home a year longer than doctors said would be possible because of my managing her diet and minimizing falls due to her illness.
