I am very good with with taking care of the elderly I love it I use to take care of my neighbor for years before he and his wife passed away I loved them they were amazing people. I can cook clean help around the house anything at all make sure they're taking there meds on time when there supposed too ext. When I was watching my neighbor one of the biggest achievements I would say is his wife Betty was unable to walk and I was able to help her do that not for long but every little step she took alone made her smile and made her husband smile and that made me smile we had amazing times together I went there 7days a week 8 to 10hrs a day till there daughter got home and those hours I spent with them made me so happy I loved getting up in the mornings to go there and I haven't watched anyone in a few years because it was hard to go back to it after they passed but I miss it and I'm ready to make someone else smile the way I was able to make them smile

I have cared for my grandfather after knee replacement surgery and after sinus surgery. I have cared for my grandmother during her fight against breast cancer. I also cared for a neighbor who was going through dialysis complications. I love the rewarding experiences I have had while caring for others. I have learned a lot about life and how precious it is. I'm a single 34-year-old with a full-time day job, looking for a very specific situation (if it exists.) I love older people, and spending time with them, and caring for them, but I don't have much experience. I do, however, have a ton of experience caring for children, and can provide excellent references to speak to my character and trustworthiness. I am searching for an overnight position right now, where I mostly just have to be there through the night in case something is needed.

One thing that makes me a great caregiver is that I provide for them as if they were my own parent and or someone I know so that they can get the best out of me. I decided to become a caregiver because it's something in medical field and it'll give me some experience for my major. I'm a great care giver solely because I'm compassionate. I became a caregiver because I was pretty much raised by my grandmother and I love her dearly. I go by her house daily just to sit to with her and to see if she need something, but mostly I'm there for her. So I bring that attitude with me to work as if I were the granddaughter just being there for companionship and to help you out with your daily activities.
