Hello, my name is Jade, One of my personality traits are I am a very caring person. My job is to make sure the patients gets the help they need. What attracted me to being part of caregiving is I have a grandmother that's under the same care with Alzheimer's it was definitely hard for me to see her in the position she's in. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is making the patients feel like they're at home. I was an advocate for my special needs child who is now a productive self-sufficient adult. I moved my grandmother to Arizona to live with me so she could remain at home with family. I cared for her for 3 years. I have gone thru the end of life with both my grandmother and my father. I have cared for my husband who was diagnosed with lung cancers in 2015 and has been through one round of radiation and two rounds of chemo and is currently stable and doing well. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is enjoying the company of my clients. As a child, I remember listening to old war stories and how the people grew up in their times. I can honestly say that the thing that I'm proud of is when someone asks for me to help them because I know I did my job the way they needed and wanted.

I'm a very patience man and always be like that and I love what I do. A good caregiver is observant and respond to any situations in a timely manner. Especially the care for elderly is very important in their daily living. They often needs attention and constant care. It is our job as a caregiver to respond to those situations even, if the patient doesn't or unable to communicate to us.
