I am a very patient and caring person. I treat others with respect and dignity. Caring for my grandmother settle a job for me as a caregiver. I enjoy listening to older folks stories and experiences. In 2012 I was honored to receive the best caregiver of the month of December.

Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. Also caring for my grandma inspired me to become a caregiver. I cared for her for years, and through that experience, I learned that I'm passionate about helping people and improving the daily lives of those in need of care. Supporting my grandma taught me skills like patience, compassion and problem-solving. I learned how to address issues quickly and effectively to ensure my grandma was healthy and safe. While the work was challenging, improving my grandma's quality of life made it worthwhile. I'd love to apply my skills to help make the same impact at your organization. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly and adults with disabilities population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. I'd love to be a part of that effort through this position and help improve the kind of care this group receives. I have been doing this type of work for 25 years this is my earthly calling this is what God calls me to do.

I have been around and have worked with special needs children and adults for 14 years, I volunteer with my husband who is a bikers who care member, for any and all events I can. I have worked at PDI and received all my training on multiple disabilities. I have worked respite, job coach, caregiver, supervising job coach, and home care. I am CPR certified, and first aid certified. I plan on working towards my CNA very soon. I have worked with the elderly including ones with dementia and alzheimers. I personally have raised three children, so I'm good with children as well. I look forward to hearing from you, and your loved one.

Hello! I am Amanda, you may call me Mandi also. I am 27 years old and the mother of two. My oldest has Down Syndrome and has received 29 surgeries since birth. I am familiar with tracheostomy tubes, breathing disorders, feeding tubes, post op care, Etc. due to my child. I have fallen in love with caregiving. I have a soft,compassionate heart and feel that is what makes me good at my job. I love being able to provide help to those that need it and hopefully place a smile on their face! I am a mother of three amazing teenagers/young adults. I have taken care of my elderly mother for many years prior to her going into a nursing home. I ran my own in home group licensed daycare for 15 years. I am responsible, educated, caring, and respectable. I love working with people and believe with all my heart that caring for others is what I was meant to do. I have experience in a wide range of fields but at the end of the day helping others is where my heart is.

What I enjoy most about being a personal caregiver is the opportunity to make an individual's mental and physical challenges more manageable. This improves the quality of life for the individual and their loved ones as well. My greatest accomplishment was helping a client overcome addiction-related symptoms of dementia. This was accomplished by providing a clean, healthy diet in a loving, stress-free home. My medical claims experience as a Social Security Adjudicator enables me to be a proficient and supportive health care advocate.

I am respectful, kind, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable & resourceful, professional, I value my patients boundaries & follow all HIPAA & OSHA laws. That is just a few traits that makes me a wonderful caregiver. To add, I also have 5+ yrs in caring for my elders. I am compassionate about caring for others & enjoy making someone's life easier. That puts a smile on my face to know I've made a difference is someone's life at the end of the day.

I started learning that I wanted to help at 12. My grandfather had a massive stroke the day I was born. By the time I was twelve I was helping in all aspects of his care. I became a CNA at 19 and worked for several years in different nursing homes and private care. Then I changed to being a CMA in a doctors office. When my children were little I then decided to be a cook for part time and now my last is graduated and I still love helping others. I have now decided to get back into the profession.
