Licensed Kansas CNA training took care of my ex's father for 5 years he was diabetic and had kidney failure so was on dialysis and was a double amputee. That is actually what started my journey to be a caregiver. I enjoy that feeling of accomplishment by helping others in need. I'm proud of taking care of my ex's father for 5 years and that he stayed in my home till the day he passed away I took care of him.

My name is Amanda. I have two children and first started as a CNA in 2012. I specialize in caring for patients with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have done in home care as well as worked in facilities. I enjoy providing care for the elderly and enjoy my career in nursing.

I have had my CNA since 2012. I worked in nursing homes for about 3 years. For the last 3 years I have done private in home care. I like being a caregiver because I like to help people and I enjoy talking to my residents and connecting with them. I hope to become a Registered nurse within a couple years.

I love being a caregiver, I decided I wanted to become a caregiver when my great grandma passed away a few years ago. I liked seeing the interaction and compassion her caregivers gave her in her last moments of life and I want to be able to do that for others also. I love caring for people, I believe that's my true calling. An achievement I am proud of is getting my CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) to further my education with Dementia and now teach others about it.

I became a caregiver because I want to be a labor and delivery nurse. I love working with others and taking care of them. Seeing their happy faces everyday and making sure they get the care they need makes me feel good. I am proud that I am pursuing my degree when nobody supported me. I am young with two daughters and I use them as my motivation.
