I became a personal caregiver, because I love helping people. I get satisfaction from knowing I made someone's life just a little easier by taking some stuff off their plate.

What attracted me the most about being a caregiver is being a helping hand being able to make a difference in some one else's life. I am very calm I have a lot of patience I'm very easy to talk to.

I am a very compassionate, humble. easy going. honorable, dependable, reliable, and a patience person. I enjoy helping people and get a great since of pride and enjoyment in the difference that I make in their lives and seeing their faces when they have accomplished a tasks. I enjoy listening to them talk about their. Child hood. How they meet their spouses growing up in olden days and learning different ways how to do things by watching them. I received an award for being dependable and reliable and giving good care, and then a compassionate caregiver. And going above and beyond to help coworkers to get the job done.

I think I would be a great care giver because I have experience with care giving. I was employed at a home health care facility and loved going to clients homes and tending to their needs. House keeping, preparing meals, grocery shopping, Dr. appointments etc. I was very good at it too. I am a compassionate person when it comes to caring for ageing adults. I'm very passionate and dedicated. I enjoy taking care of others. It's not only a job but it's a job I can be proud of at the end of the day. If I can help just one person I feel like I've accomplished something good. I like listening to their stories. I might be there to help them but at the same time these cars clients have taught me something in return.

I've been a caregiver for about 13 years now I have done private care, worked in skilled facilities, assisted living , hospitals, home health and also worked at a hospice house. I'm am hard working, dedicated, reliable and my number one goal is caring for your loved one.

I decided I wanted to be a caregiver when my grandma got dementia and needed help with everything. I would check in on her every other day until my Aunt moved her out of town and put her in a nursing home. Wasn't happy with the care she was receiving and knew I'm more caring and generous than them. I'm understanding and a hard worker. I let my CNA expire but still graduated for it with good grades. I only left Barbs because she died unfortunately. I was sad and upset with the other caregivers because they did not seem to care and talked down to her. But over the last few yrs we have a house directly across the street for brain damaged residents and today I just took one some bday presents and rubbed a cramp out of anothers leg so I wanted to go back to doing it. I'm involved with bible study to better myself and just got cleared as after 2 yrs of blood clots in my brain. I enjoy helping people when I'm capable as and have always gotten along with the elderly. They make me smile with their stories and appreciation. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is that I've been sober since 2008. I worked at a bar and was easily persuaded to stay and drink and got me into trouble. I hope you can see past that because I am a good, loyal, caring, generous, hard working individual.

I am a Registered Nurse who works remotely and travel 1 week per month. I have been an RN since 2011 and prior experience since 1997 as a CNA. I am looking for some part-time work while not traveling. I am caring and love caring for people with what each individual needs. I love being a CNA, I left my last job because I felt like the residents were not getting the right care and no matter what I said would help. I ended up getting scabies from them. I built relationships with many of my residents I took care of. I love just sitting with them while they eat and listening to the stories they tell. Just being able to help people is what I want to do my end goal is to get my RN. I enjoy helping them in any way they need and being a friend and someone they know they have. A lot of times residents don't have family who come and see them, you are their family that is how I look at it. Honestly being a CNA is one of my greatest accomplishments I know it isn't much but being able to help is what I was born to do.

I am very detail oriented. I have been a CNA for 10+ year, and have 7 years experience in home care. I grew up in and out of hospitals as a child and found a passion to give back, which lead me to working in the medical field. I love caring for people, so many times I've seen clients not getting the care they needed. I love seeing the change when I come in. My biggest achievement in life is being a mom, my kids are my world!

I took care of my mom for many years since I was a young girl. When I came to the United States I saw the need of care givers with a heart to serve the residents as family. I had been in the medical field for around 14 years. I like take care my patients, residents, and families of my clients as my own. I am very proud that my residents and family were very grateful and some of them keep good memories of being part of their lives. My personal achievement, I had been able to work for many major Hospitals in different states, such as : Illinois, Iowa,and Texas. I am continue my education in the medical field always looking for updates seminars and keep up with technology in the medical field. I am taking my pre-requisites for the Nursing Program right now at ACC Round Rock campus.
