I'm a new member of the Wichita community. My husband and I moved here from the Manhattan area where I worked as a para educator for 9 years. Needing a change, I worked toward my CNA,CMA, and HHA certifications. I have worked in Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Home Care and Hospice all of which I loved. I have an early work experience as an EMT,(no longer lisenced), and years in phlebotomy. I've also worked as a CNA in a surgical center in various areas of the building. I spent 1 1/2 years after we moved here, recovering from shoulder surgery and working in a preschool center while getting situated in our new to us house. We have two daughters, one is married with a 4 yr old and 8 month old and the other is a Jr in college at Bethel. I grew up a farm girl, spent valuable time with my grandparents, and have been involved in many activities myself and with our kids. My family has always come first and I have always worked jobs that would allow me to live and be in their moments as they were and are happening! We are total hands on grandparents to our grandchildren when needed and possible. I love flea markets, refurbishing furniture, I have my own picture painting site, yard sales, shopping, and being in our yard. My heart and soul are extremely down to earth and when I enter a clients home, they are what matters while I am there. Their comfort and happiness with my work, long after I leave, is important to me until I see them again.

Hi! My name is Judith but you can call me Judy if you like. I have been a full-time caregiver since 2012, and I am so fortunate that I am paid to do what I love! The thought rose up in me when my mother began to show signs of Dementia. We developed a bond that was very close and comforting for both of us. Since then every client is family and every challenge is so worth it! I think I was born to be a caregiver. I think that trust is the most important aspect of my profession. I have learned to be rigorous about making sure things are always where you put them. I don't look in cupboards or drawers unless I have permission to do so. If a client has faith in me they will exercise and eat and walk more readily. I am certified CMA (I am able to pass medications legally) and up to date on my CPR and First Aid Certifications. I think I am most proud (and grateful) for my ability to make clients feel protected and valued.

My name is Nicole. I am just moving to Thorton. I graduated last year with my LPN and am thinking about taking the NCLEX at the beginning of October. I live being a CNA and a CMA as I love working with people. I am currently in school for my bachelor's in leadership. My end goal is that by the end of 2023 I will have my RN and be ready to get my BSN.

I love helping people. I have found out that being a caregiver is much more rewarding then my past career of being a commercial buyer. I like helping people to be able to stay in their own homes. It is both a calming and healing environment over living in an assisted living environment. In one of my past positions I was able to help a morbidly obese woman lose a significant amount of weight and become more mobile. Presently I work with severely special needs children of Army families. I have lived in Colorado over twenty-five years. I have raised two children. My daughter is soon to be married, and my son is finally legal. I would love to be your care provider and help you attain your goals and aspirations.

I have been traveling to my sister's home for a day or two each week following her return home after a hip fracture. She and her husband have needed some additional help with housekeeping and other support. I am a retired, but still licensed, registered nurse. Her insurance will pay for 6 hours of housekeeping and she wanted me to receive something for the services I have provided. As far as I am concerned, the care provided has been a labor of love and it does not matter to me if I receive this compensation or not. I am not interested in doing this for anyone else, as I am 71 and retired. I am pursuing this only at my sister's request.

Hello! My name is Morgan Dick and I am a caregiver. I come with a lot of patience, I am kind, and I truly care for the health of others. My soul purpose in life is helping others. I have been in the medical field for over six years now and also have a year of LPN/LVN training. I have worked mostly as a CNA over the course of my six years but have also worked in clinics as a medical assistant and as a phlebotomist. I am currently a personal trainer and aspiring occupational therapist. I am a genuine guy who loves to help people. My family consist of a lot of elderly individuals who has lost their independence. That being said they live through the younger generation of the family. That touches my heart so I do anything I can to make their day better.i am a natural leader and motivator. The reason why I became a caregiver was because it hurts me to see people receive horrible care. When a person is a caregiver, they are supposed to be passionate, responsible, and loving and come to the realization that they have other people's lives in their hands. I am a caregiver because I like to help out everyone and give them the best possible care. I know that they are humans with needs and feelings and always need to be attended to. What I love the most about being a caregiver is enriching my patients lives and providing the best care and comfort for them. A personal achievement that I am very proud of would be completing high school at 16 and beginning college. I am a 4.0 GPA student with Fort Hays State University and I will be transferring to Texas Womens University where I will be majoring in Nursing. I will complete and receive my Bachelors of Science, so that way I can become a Registered Nurse. Then, I will receive my Masters degree, which will enable me to pursue my career of becoming a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
