Because i enjoy taking care of elderly people, I took care of my foster parent until they both pass away. I like being a caregiver because of the smiles i bring to my patient faces. i'm proud of myself for graduating college and getting my first degree. I'm married to my husband Arthur and we have seven kids between the two of us, we are home owners and currently remolding our house, family is very important to me.

Hi. My name is Dalancia and I am 26 years old. I am currently in school to be a nurse ( LPN ) at Nunez Community College. I have been doing CNA work since I was 16 years old. My mom and aunt opened up a home health care service when I was young and would take me to work with the. I haven't looked back since!! I enjoy working with elderly people!

I love my job I love helping others I've always wanted to help people since I was little I'm friendly and nice the most part I love about being a caregiver is getting to help others I can change someone whole day just by making them smile or laugh and being there with them

Being a caregiver has been pretty much my whole life. Ever since I can remember maybe around the age of 14 I was helping my grandparents recover from strokes, breast cancer and a colostomy. Since a young girl I have enjoyed taking care of others and rendering aid where there is need. I have been a provider/ caregiver since I was 19 and now I'm 28 years young with three girls on my own. I am now in college getting my degree in physical therapy and looking forward to not only caring and giving my patients one on one care but rehabilitating them further on after life's curveballs. I am a Great caregiver who not only loves what she does but also take pride in helping others at times when it may not be anyone else around.

I am a very compassionate person. My passion is taking care of others in need. I love putting smiles on my patients faces. I'm very patient laid back and go with the flow type of person. I let my patients tell me what they like and how they like things done. What attracted me to being a caregiver is definitely watching my aunt take care of my grandma when I was a little girl. I seen how happy it made her and I knew that's what I wanted to do in life. I enjoy the love and compassion I receive back from my patients. I love to know that they are happy and comfortable with how I take care of them. Definitely a personal achievement that I'm proud of is when one of my patients couldn't walk because of a fall. I worked with them and worked very hard was very patient with them and got them walking fully in 2 months! That made me so proud.
