Helping others has always been fulfilling and to be able to help clients who are in need and see them progress or just to be a positive influence or a sense of encouragement in a person's life is very humbling and why I am proud to be a nurse.

I become a caregiver, early in age. I always felt compassionate and empty for someone who were hurt or couldnt do things for themself. The things I love most about being a careprovider/CNA is the fact of being apart of someone's life on a daily basis. I enjoy caring for someone as if they're grandma or mother. I decided on becoming a caregiver because I've been a nurse for 17 years and really enjoy caring for others, but nursing, with all of its huddle and bussle, didn't allow much time to give the care I longed to provide for my clients. Caregiving allows for such care. I've worked in many different facets of nursing including hospice, home health, med-surg, skilled care, nursing home, and have even held multiple managerial positions in nursing, but I realized what I really found fulfilling was actual caregiving!

I've been a caregiver over 20yrs. I enjoy taking care of people. Specially the elders of are nation. They have taken care of us to make are lives easier and comfortably, so I think they deserve to be taken care of in their golden years. I hope my generation of caregivers leads a good example for are future nurses. So when I'm in my golden years I'm taken care of with the same respect and comfort i taught the future caregivers. Looking back I wouldn't change anything of my decision to become a nurse. I've also had the pleasure of traving around the world meeting different cultures in this field.

I am someone who has always been willing to give a helping hand. I have provided different care services for children and adults of all ages, with and without handicaps or needs for special care. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I would describe myself as very friendly, happy, positive, caring, trustworthy and helpful. Also as someone who likes to stay busy. I've always loved people and animals, which means pets are not an issue for me. My hobbies include cooking, cleaning, walking, exercising, and shopping.
