I became a care giver because i didn't like how the elderly was being treated and i wanted to make a difference. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to show the that someone cares and will be their no matter what when there immediate family can't. I am currently relocating to ct and i am almost finished. I hope to some day be a social worker so i can better advocate for the elderly and disabled

I am currently only providing care to my father. I cook, clean and assist with daily activities. I'm patient and empathetic to his needs.

I've been taking care of people since I was a child and continued to do so into my adulthood. I like making a difference, even the small one's count. I have experience working in various positions caring for others including my current fulltime job as a mental health therapist.

I have been certified as a nurse assistant/home health aid since 2010. I have worked for South shore hospital main building, and home care department. My last job was working at Massachusetts General Hospital on the Respiratory acute care unit and med sure floor. Being able to bring comfort to someone in a time of need is what made me love this job the most. Making a difference in someone's life is the best reward.

Hello! I am a student nurse looking to improve the life of others.

I graduated from Bridgewater State in 2007 with a degree in Social Work and Psychology. I worked for 10 years in the human service field working with adults with developmental disabilities. I then switched fields and became an executive assistant for several years. 2 years ago my husband had a traumatic brain injury, and 4 months ago, we welcomed our first son to the world. I am looking for something that can help with the bills but isn't a long 9 to 5 role and something that I enjoy doing, such as helping others.

I become a caregiver because i used to take care my grand grandmother for almost 3 years, after she death i decide to go school as a CNA so i can work with any elderly. I really enjoy to work with the elderly and also i make sure i made them happy all the time. My personal achievement is that i just graduated from CNA course, now i'm very proud of myself because i choice to work with the elderly. My name is Emilia and i'm Cape- Verdean. I live in Boston for 8 years now, and I have a lot experience work with the elderly, kids, and great communication with the customers. I'm a hard work , respectful, honest and i like do organize all the things in order.

I became a caregiver because I like working with the elderly. I like being able to help people with their daily activities as much as I can especially to those who can't do much themselves. I am 19 yrs old in college, I'm a certified Home Health Aide, CPR certified, and have completed a nursing assistant training program.

1.I love to listen to people and hear their stories - especially the elderly - how it was when they grew up, I love history and it is a treat listening first hand! 2. Having someone smile and appreciate what I do for them to be honest - I like making a difference in their day and making them happy - it makes me feel good. 3.I have raised three sons and have a disabled husband I take care of. 4.I appreciate old things, a clean house, all weather. Family is very important to me and I have God in my life. I love crafts - knitting, crocheting, etc, and feel you can learn something new all the time.
