I became a caregiver because I did not want to work in main stream Healthcare anymore. My passion is helping seniors the way they and their family's want to be cared for without Healthcare systems making the choices for their care. I worked as a physical therapy assistant for 27 years. The last 8 were in a rehabilitation department at a skilled nursing facility. I have enjoyed the last 9 years doing private home care as a caregiver. Helping individuals live their lives with dignity, safety and loving care.

I love to help others. Being a caregiver makes me happy knowing I am helping someone who needs me.

I am a very caring, energetic, person! I very much enjoy working with the geriatric population. I am a northener, that just moved here to Florida to be with my father, and so far I am LOVING it! I am a hard worker, can be quite a talker, and am always on the go! I have no children, and I am always looking for something to fill my time. Why not do something in the area that I love?! I am a middle child, an animal lover, and all around people person loving person!

I have had the joy and pleasure of caring for the elderly for over 21 years. I have a vast experience in working with all types of challenging diagnosis. I believe that no one, should be defined by diagnosis, age, or challenges that doctors or society has labeled them with! I have extensive experience working with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Stroke, Neurological disorders, Arthritis, COPD, Cardiac, Orthopedics, Amputations,etc As a Licensed and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, I am able to not only provide excellent care as a private caregiver, but also to incorporate my therapeutic skills. Ie. , Range of motion, exercise,proper transfers, positioning techniques, mobility tasks, strengthening activities,etc. My background as a therapist also enables me to recognize any problem areas and be able to assist the client in these areas. I love working with someone one on one and to give them the attention and care that deserve. My goal is to help clients achieve the best quality of life possible. I will provide customized solutions, compassionate and individualized care, specific techniques and strategies to meet the diverse needs of the client and family members. My mission is to provide security and peace of mind for the client as well their loved ones. I am CPR certified, hold various certificates, Licensed, as well as Level 2 national fingerprint clearance to work in healthcare. I will provide any of these documents upon request as well as references.

I am by nature, a care taker. I love children, animals and the elderly. I worked as a dental hygienist for 25 years helping patients with oral hygiene. My biggest accomplishment is treating people the way they would want to be treated. I am a mother, a daughter, a wife and a sister. Every birthday and holiday is at my house and I am the one hosting. I am professional and empathetic. I am caring and on time. I am a hard worker.

I care for my clients with the love and respect that I would hope someone would come and give my family members if I couldn't personally be there with them all the time .

I am a nursing student at Becker College in Worcester, MA. I have had experience in a rehabilitation center and have taken care of patients with lots of different needs. I enjoy being with people who need companionship or someone to brighten their day. I enjoy providing the best care that I can. I am excited to be finishing my RN degree in May 2020, being a nurse is my passion.

I have been working in the health field for over 20 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! Ranging from nursing homes to hospitals. I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people and the sense of gratitude I achieve when I make someone comfortable or simply make them smile! My achievements range from awards I have received such as outstanding employee to learning so much over the years! Achievements such as phlebotomy, EKG's, suctioning, working with ventilators, vitals, oxygen and the simple fact of knowing how to deal with different patients needs! Working on a medical floor at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA has taught me how to deal with a variety of patients. I have since moved to Grand Junction, CO. Where I would love to continue my medical career. Now that my children are older, I would love to continue my medical field in home health. I would love to have flexible hours. I am a dedicated mother as I am a dedicated employee! I always put forth my best and hardest effort in whatever I do! I always have a smile on my face and love to bring a smile to someone's face!
