Hi, I"m looking forward to meeting and working with clients. I find it interesting and rewarding to work with people who need extra support and care. I enjoy getting to know individuals and hearing their stories. I've worked with Special Olympics, I've taught skiing to people with disabilities, and I have taught Special Education students. I also had the privilege of taking care of my parents. My Mom had Parkinson's, my Dad had Alzheimer's.

Hi there!!!! I have always had a passion for helping others. Whether it was taking a position in a daycare or public school or assisted living or residential home; I have been working in the human service field for as long as I was legally able too! And before I jumped into the workforce, I babysat children in my community since 11 years old; so being a caregiver has always come naturally to me. During my 20's while studying to obtain my bachelors degree, I worked as a PSS for seven years for two home health care agencies. I absolutely loved working with clients in their homes, as I'm able to provide exceptional care in the environment that they feel most comfortable. I find it extremely rewarding to help others in need. In my opinion, the elderly are the most vulnerable population to be financially and physically abused, and it's important for caregivers to advocate, so that they are able to receive the proper care the later years of their lives. I enjoy working with a client in home, as I find that everyone has their own culture and it's fascinating to learn about someone's past life experiences. I think it is very important to be open minded, and I would fully respect my clients way of living and not show judgment. I have great communication skills and can adapt to whatever style of communication my client prefers. I take constructive criticism very seriously; I want to make sure I am giving the best care, but more importantly the right care, for what my clients personalized needs are. I promise to treat my clients with dignity and respect, while providing them support so that they are able to continue living successfully and safely, in the comfort of their own homes.

I love spending time with people and genuinely feeling like I am making a difference in someone's life. I am excited to be a caregiver because I know I can offer the help that many are looking for! My name is Justin, I am a college student going for medical coding. I love getting to interact and socialize with clients. I always strive to be as helpful as possible and make sure the client is comfortable. After the first time I was a caregiver I realized how much I enjoy the opportunity to be able to help others.

I am around a couple with early onset almost every day, as I care for their dog because they can no longer do so. I am very helpful and good to them and enjoy cleaning up and meal prep especially.

I am a great listener and observer. I am comfortable working with all ages. I have not been a personal caregiver, however, I am a natural caregiver in many ways. Throughout my career, I have chosen to work with people who need some assistance with either solving personal problems, or have difficulty in expressing themselves. I'm caring, naturally interested in people, and sensitive to peoples needs. My interest in working as a caregiver has more to do with providing companionship, listening respectfully, and sharing my sense of humor with others. I am patient and caring. My personal achievement that I am particularly proud of is raising a healthy, happy family.

I became as caregiver because I thought it was a great way to help elderly as well as earning an income. Caregiving gives me flexibility of job hours. Being a caregiver, I feel satisfied that I am able to meet clients needs and help clients toward recovery and a better quality of life. I am proud of being able to volunteer to help a client several years back for the days that her medical insurance did not cover. I was happy to help her as she was blind, handicapped, and unable to afford having someone help her. I have worked through a home care agency on and off depending on my availability for 6 years. I am a reliable, compassionate, efficient, and experienced caregiver who puts the needs of my clients my first priority and enjoys working as a caregiver.

I have always had a compassionate and caring personality, even in my group of close friends, I was known as the "Mom" figure. I always strive to do my best to make sure others are happy and healthy and care for others. I find great joy and fulfillment in seeing others happy and assisting in any way I can. My ultimate goals are to get back into Childcare as I finish my BA in Early Childhood Education and hopefully open up my own preschool some day. I have are experience with both very young children and infants as well as adult care and senior care.

Providing care for more than one of my family members...loved ones, places my role as a caregiver near and dear to my heart, with great empathy in which I do consider an honor. I believe that one of the most important part our relationships is companionship, providing psych-social support activities so important to everyone's life.
