I am a compassionate caregiver and have over 20 years experience. I enjoy helping my clients feel as independent as possible, truly taken care of, their needs and concerns addressed, and like a valuable person, not a number. I support and encourage the family (when appropriate). I'm good with most pets. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I'm honest, trustworthy, and I WILL show up!

I enjoy working with people. I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so. Its my way of giving back to the community. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I help someone recover, achieve the best in live possible with the physical and/or mental limitations they gave. And from hearing how thankful the patients and relatives are for the level of service I have provided.

I have a BA in Psychology and enjoy working with the elderly and those with memory concerns. I plan to become a Doctor and am putting myself through the prerequisites. I'm a genuine, caring person and will enjoy getting to know my residents. I look forward to meeting you!

I became a care giver because I wanted to help those in need and feel as though I am making a difference for them. I like being able to relieve the discomfort of those whom I am helping and knowing that I did my best as though I were doing this for myself or a family member. I am particularly proud of the fact that I have gone through some personal health trials and have come out of them more aware and compassionate towards other as a result. I am a mother of four and have been hospitalized and bed ridden for each of them during my pregnancy. This has made me very understanding of how it is to be in the vulnerable position o f patient and yet I am also much more aware and educated about the health field and the role of patient and caregiver both. I am a good caregiver because of my experiences as CNA in most of the hospital wards as a float pool/registry employee and as a patient myself in a few departments. I take pride in doing my job well and maintaining their dignity as well as communicating with them so as to keep their interests and spirits up.

I am compassionate and empathetic to individuals and their needs. I have 8 years experience working with seniors. I was a live in caregiver in 2004 for a year ; that experince inspired me to want to become a CNA. I later became a CNA and has worked with nursing staffing agencies in the Chicago area, where I given assignments at various hospitals in Chicago to perform as a CNA, sitter, caregiver. I currently work at a senior primary physicians office, where I edcate seniors on medicare benefits and other healthcare issues. I enjoy working with this particular group , it not only puts me in a position to provide quality care, it gives me the ability to make someone life better.
