Hello! I have worked in various roles as a caretaker. I have 21 years experience in healthcare with long term care patients. Memory care experience with advanced stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have always loved to work in a geriatric setting, but I moved into hospital work and have been an ICU Technician, a pharmacy technician, cardiac technician, and most recently obtained a degree in Surgical Technology! I am also current on Covid vaccinations and all vaccinations. I am Also current in my BLS certification.

Hello! My names is Kelsey! I am a mother of two amazing little boys! 3 and 1 I have been in the caregiving industry for a little over 6 years now, I have experienced everything you can think of.. I love what I do, and I enjoy coming in to each of my clients lives, and getting to know them on a personal level! I graduated from Rasmussen college with my diploma in medical assisting in April of 2021, covid had hit and I decided I didn't want to be in the doctors office, rather one on one with a client in caregiving. I am a very patient and understanding person. I may have not been in the industry for too long but where I currently work, most of our customers are elderly that I help whenever I can when they come and buy tools and materials they need for stained glass, fusing or mosaics with their hobby. I want to be a caregiver for I believe keeping an elderly company and a help can be rewarding plus they always have an adventurous stories to tell. I have work in healthcare for over 35 years. The first 18 were with developmentally disabled individuals. I then stepped into roles as a home health aide, patient care technician, patient care assistant, professional addictions counselor, medical assistant and a certified nursing assistant. Because I am a people person and I have always treated everyone as if they were my mother and father, I have really loved and enjoyed helping people as much as possible on a daily basis. I have worked in assisted living facilities as well as private care for over 9 years, I use to volunteer at a facility in Gainesville, Fl doing activities and it melted my heart to see their smiles, some people do not have family that visits and some are lonely so when your on shift you in a way are able to fill that void.

I've worked in long-term care facilities as well as currently working in home health and love working with seniors in any setting. My experience with personal care, along with light housekeeping and cooking or meal prep, is beneficial to anyone looking for compassionate help for their loved ones. My inspiration for becoming a caregiver came from my experience raising 2 children with developmental challenges. Both of them are wonderful, successful, independent and completely well balanced adults. When my autistic son was about 8, the doctors told me he would never be able to live independently. He now works with people with autism, has had a paper about autism published, has a computer repair business on the side, is a professional photographer, is a part of the Montavilla Emergency Warning Shelter, in Portland, OR working specifically with severe weather readiness, and is also street medic. My other son is in his senior year of college about to earn dual degrees in Elementary Education and Ministry, and is on the Dean's list. I realized that my passion was seeing the needs of a person and finding the right, personal method to create a healthy, successful and happy life for my clients, and never placing limits on what they can do. I have worked with a variety of children and adults with varied needs. I currently work with a senior who enjoyed scrabble and word searches, in their past they loved to do wood working so we do as much of that as they are physically able. My method is to get to know my client, their past hobbies, interests and then continue doing those activities (yes sometimes I have to get creative due to medical needs, my current client has some vision loss, so I have acquired a large, black and white scrabble set). Talking to seniors about their past is also enjoyable as is listening to their favorite music!

I have worked as a nursing assistant since 1999. The first time I was accepted to nursing school was the year 2000 but decided that the children were a priority. I'm currently in the nursing school and still have a long way to go before graduation. I have cared for people in their homes, nursing homes, assisted living, group homes and hospital. I love what I do because it gives me a great sense of satisfaction.

Hello! My name is Rosa and I have been living and working in West Palm Beach for almost 7 years as a business professional. I am a caring person who demonstrates patience, compassion and understanding. I am always dependable and punctual . For many years, I have been in the wrong field and have discovered that I wanted to help others. I decided to chase a new field and establish my experience through helping families on carelinx. My only opportunities for helping care for those in need are my interactions through volunteering for our local senior community with Meals on Wheels as well as Elderhelpers.org. However, I am a great person am readily available during the day and or evening to assist you with your loved one with daily tasks or companionship. Although I am not a licensed care giver, I still am capable of caring and making the life of your loved one so much easier and my life so much more rewarding. I do enjoy cooking and the joy of laughter! I am not experienced or licensed with dispensing medication but will assist with medication reminders if needed.
