Hello! My name is Landon, and I'd love to be your care giver. I found passion in this field through my mother. She has battled crippling disease for most of my life and has had a very difficult time finding a caregiver to provide personalized and consistent care with her ever changing disability. Aiding others with their daily lives is very near to my heart and I have developed a very personal relationship with my job and clients. My goal is to provide high quality, trustworthy, personalized care to create a higher quality of living for you or your loved one. I enjoy staying at one job for long periods of time, but am also flexible to short term work. I am a Certified Nursing Aid, a level 1 Medication Aid, and am certified in CPR and basic life support. I strive to create an optimistic, patient, compassionate and trusting environment for my client and am flexible to individual levels of care to ensure you get what you need out of a care giver. I am experienced with in-home care as well as facility care. I have worked with children, young and middle aged adults, and elderly adults alike.

I've watched my mother be nurse in nursing homes almost my entire life. I have always went to the homes she works in and would just sit and talk to the residents. I love caring for others. I have not officially worked as a caregiver before but I took care of my grandfather when he was diagnosed with cancer. I bathed him and got him to the restroom and when he wasn't able to do anything on his own anymore I did not hesitate to do whatever needed for him. It was a very difficult time for me and my family but I am so happy that I was able to be there for him in his time of need as he had always been there for me.

I got my CNA license while still in high school. Ever since 4th grade when my mom got sick, I wanted to be a nurse. When I was in high school, I thought that the CNA program was the perfect start. Since graduating in 2014, I have worked almost consistently as a CNA, with a couple breaks here and there. I love being able to take care of people and make them happy and feel good about themselves.

I am a very outgoing person who loves to be around people. I am a very family oriented person and can always have fun no matter what. I am never mad and most likely always have a smile on my face. when I was in high school I was a para in sports class and I loved being active with the kids and they always made me look forward to coming to school because I never wanted to let them down. and when the kids would have to go to their other classes without me, they would ask the teachers if they could play with me again and where I was because of how well I worked with them. I have two people in my family with disabilities and seeing them happy just makes my heart feel so good and I want that for everyone. everyone deserves the attention and love and I am always willing to give that. I knew that I wanted to go further with this career when I worked with the kids in high school. they make your day with the littlest things and it takes someone with patience and a good personality and especially a good heart and I have all of that

I have been volunteering at senior centers for over 15yrs, giving massages, serve and deliver food, and any other services needed. I have been a HHA/companion for 10 years and a business owner of massage therapy for 15yrs. Being a Caregiver not only supplements my income during COVID-19, but also fills my time and heart. I wake up every day with purpose of making their day the best possible day it can be.
