I love getting to know people, learning their personalities and preferences, and hearing their stories. I enjoy being able to help in a patient, loving, and compassionate manner.

My wife and I have been married for 51 years and live in Acworth, Ga. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren that all live in the Atlanta Metro area. I have personal experience caring for my mother, father and mother-in-law during their later years. I have a passion to help other families dealing with similar situations. We all attend a Christian Church in the Atlanta area. I consider my clients as extended family members. My goal is to always demonstrate compassion and encouragement to each client. What makes me a great caregiver is the care, and compassion I pride myself on to help others. I became a caregiver to provide the utmost care, and great environment that one deserves. What I like most in care providing is meeting and learning about new people, and being able to make an individual smile. My personal achievement in life was having my daughter, and starting a family. I am a medical doctor retired from Venezuela and I had nutritional and gerontology studies in this country, but I retired in 1998 to take care of my grandkids and my old relatives, this is my big experience, and I love to do it. Now my grandkids are big and my old relative die. I still feel strong to take care of people. I can give company, help and love.

I love working with seniors! (Truly!) I am currently helping my elderly parents and because of that have become sensitive to what it takes to be a good caregiver for other seniors. I work in schools, and as such, have a background check through Family Services. I have been trained in First Aid and CPR. My experience in working with people with special needs has allowed me to work with seniors and people with a wide variety of health and other needs. Loads of patience and driven by a spiritual belief in serving others, I'm a pretty good cook too.

I'd love to spend time with someone who may be needing some help and feels lonely. I'm happy to help with whatever that person may need. I am a student, but can offer my services in the evenings or overnight.
