Hello there. My name is Destiny. I have been a CNA for 9+ years and I love it. I have recently become a teacher as well and I have been doing that for 4+ years also. I am familiar with home health care, hospice, long term care, acute care, and hospital care. I have worked in many facilities and many private homes with clients. I want to offer not only the perfect care but the love and assurance that everyone needs that someone will be there for them. I take passion in my work because we need to make sure all humans and loved ones are well taken care of. Having many different skills and experience to offer could not only help but also show me more to learn. I am proud to be a CNA/ Caregiver/ Educator to both those we look up to and those we look forward to running our world in the future. I look forward to caring and enjoying my clients.

I am a great caregiver because I have a love for helping people. My happiness is in infectious and I like seeing people smile. I'm attracted to being a caregiver because when I am able to help someone else it makes me feel good. People always need someone to help them at some point in their life, and I really enjoy knowing that I am able there to help. A personal achievement that I have made is raising two beautiful children as a single mother and they are also helpers themselves.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I treat the patient that I get as if they were part of my family. I naturally have an urge to help others and I want to make the world a better place and they do it with one home care patient at a time. I am a person with a big heart who has patience, empathy, compassion, reliable and I am trustworthy. I enjoy having that personal relationship with someone I am caring for the most. Seeing you and stranger become so close is a beautiful thing to me. I have my CNA but I currently can not find my certification number but I have papers to prove that I am certified if needed.

I'm a hard working mom of 3 boys! I'm an intoxicatingly positive and happy person who thrives off of giving to and helping. My passion is giving and I'm most fulfilled in life when I'm helping others. I was a caregiver for my fiance with stage 4 lung cancer for 7 months and also for me dear sweet grandmother before she passed away from ovarian cancer. It changed me and the way I care for others. I love meal prep and good conversation. My 3 boys have taught me true patience and understanding and I look forward to helping others as much as possible.

I am BLS certified. I just moved to Killeen from Kansas City where I was in nursing school. I moved to Killeen to support my husband and plan to return to nursing school in the fall. I aspire to be a nurse practitioner. I have had 2 years of patient interaction in school learning how to take vitals and do patient interviews.

My name is Ebony Adams I have always been a caregiver, since I was 8 years old. I cared for animals, my siblings, my neighbors, and my grandmothers. Compassion for others drives me to be and do my best. My mom and grandmother taught me how to take care of the basic needs of others by making sure they are clean, fed, safe and happy. Hi I'm Margarita. I am a student at UMKC studying Music Therapy. I am a very friendly, social person, who loves to help people in anyway I can. I want to be a caregiver because in the future my dream is to be able to work with the geriatric population doing music therapy with them. I am new to being a caregiver but I am a fast learner and hope i am able to help as many people as I can in this position.

I have been interested in medicine and helping people sense my freshman year of high school. I currently have my CNA as well as 70+ hours of shadow time in a Nursing Home in all units and 120+ hours of shadow time at local hosting the area. The idea of helping people that need it is what draws me to wanting to be a caregiver.

Hi, my name is Brianna Pettigrew. I graduated college in May 2016, from North technical high school. At North Technical high school I participated in the Nursing program, where I earned my CNA, and has 2 years of experience under my belt. Unlike most caregivers I am very passionate about what I do. I put my all into my work and treat others like family. I respect the person and show great characteristics of a great potential nurse. I say potential because I currently attend college in Kansas city, Missouri were I am studying to be a Registered Nurse. I like to treat others as if it were my family I was taking care of.

Why did you become a Caregiver? Helping is a part of life and to help those that cant help themselves means a lot to me. What do you like about being a Caregiver?
