I entered this field because I love helping people. I like making the patient or resident happy and comfortable with the care I provide. I am proud of all the education I have achieved. I am a very giving person, I have great work ethic and work well with others.

I became a caregiver because when I was in my early teens my grandmother suffered 2 severe strokes leaving her entire left-side of her body paralyzed. for the first year and a half i volunteered to take care of her bathing her, transferring her in a hoyer lift with the assistance of family members later on in my teen years when i was old enough i took on trainings and volunteered at L & M Hospital in New London, transporting patients. Therefore from me doing the care for my grandmother made me realize how great it would be for me to pursue a career in healthcare. Helping other families like my own. I enjoy making family's feel confident that their loved ones are being taken care of in the best quality of love and care. One of my favorite things I've experienced in being a CNA is when i sit down and talk to my elders. Hearing how they feel and ensuring them that i am someone they can count on. Working in different medical environments, Fast- paced or even slow paced i have always had Elders as well as their family members acknowledging how different i am and how grateful they are to have me. Also the fact that people see the hard work and effort you put in to make people happy, Which is a great feeling being appreciated. A personal achievement that i am proud of is earning my CNA certification. I feel that was one of the greatest things i have done. Currently i am a student at Three Rivers Community College, Continuing my healthcare career journey in changing lives.

I am a young vibrant woman that has a passion for caring for the elderly. My first job out of high school was a nursing home. That's where I fell in love with my clients. My grandmother was a huge idol in my life. Not only was she my best friend but she was a care giver also. I helped take care of her and my grandpa when they were too old and needed help. I love working with the elderly. I love talking and listening to their stories. I love sharing my stories, or just playing cards or watching tv together. I love helping in their everyday life, without them completely giving up independence.

The thing that helps me be a great caregiver is that I had a stroke and I was paralyzed from neck down and others helped me regain my strength in my time of need when I couldn't do anything for myself. What attracted me is the sickness that I experienced and was fighting for my life. The thing I enjoy most is helping others and making a difference in someone life. I'm proud that I graduated college and chooed to make wise descions in my life to what's right and always treat others with respect most of all continuing to be a honest person to all people.

I have been a caegiver in the past, and love working in the field of Healthcare. I am a Certified Medical Assistant with various specialties and knowledge to administer injections as well as medication and medication management. I also have wound healing experience.

I became a caregiver because I feel great and accomplished by helping others in need. I am very patient and compassionate with the residents/patients. During my clinical I was good with residents who normally do not participate. I think I have the right attitude for the job. I am very likeable and easily approachable which I find is important in this field.

i became a care giver because always thought of my parents and how I would want them treated with dignity and respect and be taking good care of. I like being a care giver because it makes me feel good that im doing something worth while and hopefully making the people days alittle easier and happier . im am proud that I was able to take care of both my parents at home they both had cancer and help them them with their wish to stay at home . im a mother of two older boys im a hard worker and just want to make people feel better and try to make their live a little easier

Because I completed my CNA training and have my license, and I love working with elderly people to help them to be independent person also I'm a very respectful person to others and loving person.
