Hello, I began my caregiving experience in 2009 working at Alternative Opportunities, Inc. located in Springfield, MO as an in-home caregiver for mentally and physically handicapped adults. This included meal prep, observational bathing, light housework, medication administration, and charting/ documentation. In 2010 I had the opportunity to provide hospice support for my great-grandmother in Ava, MO as she neared the end of her life. I primarily provided companionship and medication administration. In 2012 I provided support as an observational sitter when my grandmother entered an induced coma for aneurysm care in a Las Vegas, NV hospital. Throughout these experiences, I have learned how to provide care by being observant, respectful, diplomatic, confidential, and reliable. My personal motto is that all God's children deserve love and care.

I am looking to be of assistance and earn extra income. I am looking for a job that will be a good fit over the next few years while I get use to the California weather. I am great with kids and have a lot of experience with them, so it was my joy to volunteer as a Teen Court Associate for 7 years, and work as a mentor and counselor for teens as well in the Division of Youth Program in Missouri. If you have errands I am available to run them. As for business skills, I have also been a co-owned in a trucking business, so I have many years of professional office experience. I can do all the household work, like mopping sweeping and vacuuming, cleaning putting away laundry, fixing bed changing linens and pressing or ironing all linens (some clothing), grocery shopping and cooking meals, serving or assistance with dinner. Other responsibilities could include watering plants and running errands when needed (drug store, dry cleaners, doctors appointments).

I've worked with people of all diversities from school age to old age. I worked at Daybreak an adult daycare while my sons were little and enjoyed the adults that attended the day facility. I also drove them home each night and helped them into their homes. On Saturdays we would drive around and provide them lunch. Many of the older people at the facility were unable to cook. My mother is getting older and needing care so I've learned a lot.

I'm 36 years old mother of three daughters, I'm a store manager at Claire's Boutique in orange Texas and I have 15 years experience in health field also. I've worked in hospitals, nursing homes, home health since 2004 in Missouri, Louisiana, and now Texas. I've been in management since 2019 and now for part time I'm wanting to help in the health field industry again. I know how to do vitals, I have experience in physical therapy, med tech experience, and can assist with all ADLs to make life a little easier for whom needs the help!

Hello, my name is Sarah. I moved down to Texas just recently to open up a new chapter of my life. While working as an Engineer, Active Duty Army, for 12 years and then a Mental Health Technitian and Coordinator, I learned that processing, empathy, care, and routines helped all my Soldiers and residents. I am a fun loving, happy, driven individual who strives to simply care for others and hopefully see a smile or 10 throughout the day. Experiencing so much has taught me to really connect with others, realizing that no matter who we are everyone deserves respect.

I am 49, with two grown children. Caring for others is what I do best. It's in my nature to be patience, compassionate and respectful at all times. I am very clean, organized, and love to cook. I'm not afraid of hard work. My best achievement, was retiring from my career in finance to become a full time caregiver for my husbands grandparents. To provide the care they needed, so they could stay in their home, was a very rewarding experience. I am currently in the process of moving to NY to live near my brother, and I'm look to get back to work as soon as possible.
