Hi my name is Jestina Nared I am 24 years old and have been working as a caregiver for 5 years 2 years as certified Cna.What makes me a good caregiver is I love and care for all my patients as if they are my own family and give the proper respect and care that is needed. I became a caregiver because I like being a helping hand and being around different people and environments and cultures. One achievement that I am proud of since I been a Cna is me being to help and be there for people who need help the most

I watched my grandmother work as an RN while growing up. She was very passionate with her clients and listened to what they had to say. She only worked for one doctor during her entire career as a nurse. Since working as a CNA at a few facilities I have witnessed people not being a team player. When you don't have a good team. It is bad for the residents and the company it self. I enjoy helping the client be at home for as long as possible. Within this area I get satisfaction watching the family and friends get to visit as often as possible. Also the moments were the client remembers something and sharing their happiness with me. Most of my clients last longer because they got to enjoy their homes and not being forced somewhere else. I have been a CNA for 13 yrs and 8 yrs as a HHA. I hope to stay a Home Health worker until I retire.

Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents. While helping them with with day to day chores, and activities of living. I also learned a lot from them as well. I enjoyed the quality time we had. Then later on once my Father passed away, I realized my passion, how much I truly enjoy helping others, and meeting the different families that God brings into my path. #Good 2B Home

As a little girl, I've always helped my grandparents, and other family members. As I got older I continued being of service in every job and task I've ever done. I became a care giver because I have a careing heart and I believe it was my calling in life. I enjoy peoples stories about there life and who they are ad see a smile. Well one acheievement is employee of the month, all of my job titles since being a caregiver, my biggest achievement would be taking care of my mom , learning how to do iv's , taking care of her wound and getting a compliment from her doctors about how good i took care of her . She lived to be 103 years old . Most of my life was spent taking care of someone . I attend a nurse aid conference every year and learn new ways to care for people.
