Hello, my name is Chaquandra Randle. I've been in Health Care for 3 yrs and I have been a CNA for a yr and a half. I moved to Iowa 3 yrs ago and my first job here was Western Home, I loved serving the residents there. Getting to know them and listening to the stories they told. I started out in the kitchen (ServSafe Certified) and maybe 3 months after starting I became a RA overnight. After a yr with Western Home I went to Hawkeye to get my CNA, and I loved everything about Health Care since. Honestly I have never liked dealing with huge gatherings of people and I always wondered what career path I would take. I think I found it about 3 yrs ago.
