I find myself a great caregiver because I am patient and very understanding. I have a unique bond with people that will not only help them build strength but make them feel good about themselves again in there time of need. I became a caregiver because my grandfather suffered from cancer and I had to help him gain strength to continue medical treatments beyond my help. I love being able to bring a spark of hope and joy back to families who need there loved ones taken care of. The most thing I can say I am proud of is finding a passion in this work beyond what others have proclaimed it to be.

Hello, My name is Caitlin Young and I am currently a college student on summer vacation. I have a passion for helping people and I love bringing smiles to people's faces. The last two years I have found my passion for helping people by offering care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Working as a substitute in an activity center for adults with disabilities sparked my love of helping people. This past year I have been an assistant/aid for a teenage boy with Autism. He has come so far in this past year. His crowing achievement will happen this fall when he leaves home school and goes on to mainstream high school. I could not be more proud of him! I am a fun loving, active, and very creative person. I would love to help about your summer job opportunities.

I think I would be a great caregiver because I have worked with the older generation in many ways...I taught for 9 years water aerobics where ages of participants started from 40-91 around 50 per class...I have had to help my father in a rehab facility after a fall and I found myself helping others as well and I loved it...I think today, this type of work unfortunately has too many people not really caring about our elderly or respect them as they should ...It's a job to them...I love it and love hearing stories of their individual lives, etc. I am a hard worker and a doctor's daughter...

I am patient and considerate of my patients. I am in school to become an RN, that is what started my interest in this field. My patients are my first priority.
