My name is Flor Chavez I use to work at a local hospital but decided I liked spending one on one time with my patients to better know them as well as better help them with their needs. I enjoy being involved with my patients hobbies such as gardening. I have always been proud of how happy my clients are with my care I provide to them.

Good Morning. My name is Tamara Gossett. I have been an active CNA for 21 years and Med Tech for 15 years. I have been caring for people since I was younger. I grew up helping take care of my older family members. I love being a CNA. I get joy in knowing that I can provide great care for others in need. I take pride in the work I do. I know that at the end of my day I have did my job to the best of my ability and provided quality care. I enjoy the interaction I can have with my clients. My personality, is a happy and energetic . For me being a caregiver it is important since I'll like to help people . I am going to college and the program I am surfing is Human services. There is nothing better to see a happy face and make feel people comfortable and that they can count on me , to help them out . I am Latina and I speaks to languages so for me I am really proud of that, it took several years to learn English so it is an achievement for me.

Hello, My name is Jenna McCormack and I have been a caregiver for about 13 years. I received my CNA license when I was in high school. My interest in caregiving first began when my grandparents became sick and I had felt after their passing I wanted to do something to help other people in their honor. I have worked in many settings of healthcare including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings and those with memory care. I also specialize in those who have suffered from strokes, heart attacks, TBIs and various other medical conditions. I am also working part time to go for a degree in occupational therapy. I currently live in Jacksonville with my husband who is in the marines, our son and two dogs. It always been my passion to serve and help others in the community as well as military veterans. Hello, I have two years of experience with the elderly. I love sitting with the elderly and hearing about their past. Being able to sit with them and interact with their daily activities.

I have always wanted this to be my career. I guess it's because I enjoyed taking care of my grandmother who passed away. I feel as though when you are elderly and/or an infant you need special care because you can't do most of the things an average young adult can do. I was volunteering at an Adlut Daycare center in Raleigh as a companion. I have worked at a home care agency doing live-ins and or whatever they needed me to do. I love to help others its in my heart and if I see someone older in need I like to help them because most people don't and I wish that there were more people like me who cared.

I am a mom of three boys. I have earned my license as a SC and North Carolina real estate broker. I worked for Beverly Hanks/Allen Tate for a short period. I decided to go after my mortgage loan origination license which I did get. My mom had been in mortgages for after 30 years so she was going to train me. However, we lost my aunt and she decided to retire. I decided to go back to work for United Comunity Bank for have since realized that I want to yet again go to school for a cosmetology license. I will be starting Blue Ridge Community school in January. I am looking to make some extra gas money. I looking to work every Friday and every Sunday afternoon.

Hello my name is Jessica! I have hands-on experience with medication, management assistance with activities of daily living, coordinating doctors appointments and physical therapy, transportation. This is truly my passion, my favorite thing most of all is when my clients tell me stories from their past, it's truly heartwarming to hear some! I am in school, majoring in substance abuse counseling. I hope to make our community better and get more people the help they need! This isn't just a job, it's building connection and being genuine. I'm a mother so I've done about everything!

I have been working as a CNA. Although I start school in January to obtain my Certificate the facilities I have worked with I have done all CNA work. I do however have my Med Tech certification. I absolutely enjoy my work. I found passion for this work while caring for my own family in the last stages of their life. I enjoy the companionship of the elderly and helping them enjoy everyday of the life they have left with us. I find the work to be very rewarding.

Caregiving has been a part of who I am as a person, even before I knew caring was a profession. Having been raised by elderly grandparents, I know the importance of family. I became a caregiver to help people, shortly after my grandma was diagnosed with dementia. I love the connections I'm able to make, especially with elderly people. Elderly people hold a very special place in my heart.
