I would descibe myself as a highly empathetic, compassionate person, that has always been drawn to and found it very rewarding to care for others. That is why I am so passionate about the well being of my patients, being able to assist others so they can stay in their homes safely, with the confidence of knowing the person that is caring for them is not only prepared to take the necessary measures to aid them if any possible issues should arise but that their caregiver (myself) is not just doing a job, my patients know that I am a caregiver that really cares.

I have been a CNA in NC since 2010. It has been very rewarding to provide care for the elderly so they can stay independent and remain in their own homes where they are most comfortable.

I am a mother /student entrepreneur and a loving compassionate individual who love to meet new people and visit new places.

While my resume highlights my accomplishments and past work experience, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself on a more personal level. My most recent job experience has been where customer service is valued above all. I am seeking a permanent full-time position that will best utilize my problem solving abilities, autonomy, and proven people skills. I have many years of experience in private duty aid and have the ability to create positive relationships with individuals from all backgrounds. I learn new skills with ease and would truly embrace the opportunity to obtain any necessary licensures or certifications to secure a long term place with your company.

I'm looking to advance in my career with helping other people, it's something I've always enjoyed as long as I can remember. I believe that if I can make someone's day just a little bit better by a kind gesture or just a smile, I have done something great. I've always believed in the better good of things no matter what. I'm the "glass half full" instead of half empty kind of person, so I guess that would make me some kind of an optimistic. That's why I chose the career path I did, because I want to help inspire other people and help them. People tell me I have what they call a "bubbly" personality and I just draw light into the room by being myself, that's the biggest compliment I could ever get from someone. I love to meet people through this line of work and hear all about their memories, stories in life, and the wisdom they've acclimated along the way. I'm so happy to make this my career, to do what you love and are passionate about for work, well is that really work? This line of work just happened years ago and I had no experience back then, didn't even know if I would like it. The moment I started and saw all it came with, I fell in love with it immediately. I love to just make people happy and to brighten their day. I've always been very personal and empathetic, ever since I was a kid. It's the love for the job and all that comes with it. I can't wait to continue and excell in this incredible journey. I hope to have the amazing opportunity to work with you and your loved ones! Hi! My name is Amanda, here's a little about myself. I'm confident, energetic, and Passionate. It is essential that a caregiver feels the desire to want to help, by showing both empathy and compassion. I will show the person that I'm caring for, that they are cared about and I'll do whatever it takes and whatever is needed to do to help them in all aspects in their time of need and do everything possible to ensure their comfort and well-being is fully met. All I want to do in life is to help people, it is my mission from our higher power.

What makes me a great caregiver is I'm very attentive, very caring and patient. What attracted me to be a caregiver was taking care of my grandmother. What I enjoy most as a caregiver is putting a smile on my patients face because even tho they're going through something I can always give them a smile. A personal achievement I'm proud of is being the first in my family to go to college.

I am now available from 2 am to 7 am starting Monday after midnight and ending at 7 am on Fridays, or I am available from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Mon through Friday. I have always wanted to give the best quality care to the elderly, they should be held in high regard and with deep respect. I am also very willing to help any one of any age, to know I am making them feel better, and if I cant physically, that I can cheer them up mentally. Even though the pay is not high, the idea of what I am doing for another is rewarding. I have been am manager and secretary but have always wanted to be a caregiver. I like to cook healthy meals and watch my patient start feeling better just by changing her eating patterns if willing. I enjoy bathing my patients as I know how clean and better it will make them feel. I love to hear the stories of days of old. I love when my patient tells me, " What would I do without you."

I have been a C.N.A for over five years now and I love what I do. I have a natural urge to help others. I am a great care giver because when I'm working with my clients I have empathy and compassion. I want the clients to know that I truly care about their well being and I'm there to help as much as possible. I am a very patient caregiver I often times think of myself in the clients shoes and realize it may be hard to get help from someone else but remaining patient and kind helps the client to let their guard down a little. I am a very reliable and dependable person I am someone who can be counted on to be there. I am a trustworthy person. I would consider myself as a Jack of all trades someone who is very valuable and can handle anything that comes my way!!

I have been caregiving to someone close to me in multiple ways since I was very young. I learned quickly to make meals, clean the home, and provide any number of requests from my charge when his health deteriorated. I was capable of sorting out medications in the correct dosages at the correct times, reminding him to take the medications with food or drink as required, and being a comfort when nothing else was required. I have been doing this for over half my life, and have adapted as my charge's conditions have changed. I am bright, bubbly, and polite, as well as well-spoken and thoughtful. I can listen well and always ask to make sure tasks are completed correctly the first time around. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the thought that I am directly impacting someone's life in a positive way. A personal achievement I am proud of is my ability to read and write quickly and eloquently.

I'm a great caregiver I love caring for the older population,I got interested in home health care by taking care of a lovely lady from our church. I learned a lot from her! It made me want to continue in this field and continue my education and go back to school to learn how to be a clinical medical assistant.

I am a very caring , loyal and responsible person. Being a caregiver is a passion of mine. I enjoy helping others that are in need of my care or just simply my time of spending with them. I have taken care of 3 of my own family members with Alzheimer's. I am happy knowing I was able to help the rest of my family be at ease with their condition.

My grandmother was a caregiver and I love taken care of people. I love the conversations that I have with the people that I take care of. I dropped out of school back in 1995 and decided to go back. Went back and got my high school diploma in 2011. Then in 2013 went back to school to get my CNA certificate. But had to move to Boston and then had to take the test over again,so I just got my certificate on 04/16/2015
