I have worked 2 jobs since I was 15 years old. I have always been a multi-tasker and long to do for others. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 30 years. We have a beautiful daughter who graduated from WVU with a degree in biology and is now on her way to medical school. I find taking care of others is very gratifying. I also have a private catering business. Needless to say.... cooking is one of my favorite hobbies along with gardening. It would be my pleasure to have the opportunity to care for someone and have their family secure in my help for their loved one.

I'm Patience, and very understanding. Having the ability to enhance or simply just being able to give a helping hand to individuals; who tend to have some difficulties with their daily lives is rewarding. The job comes with being able to adjust swiftly and Safely. Therefore, I'm a fast learner and a very determined individual. Just like my coworkers prior would say about me. . Im willing and ready to learn more. Knowing that I'm making a difference and learning by the day makes what i do enjoying. This field is not only changing and always evolving. But for the last four years, that I've been apart of this career. I can say that I've learned and grew into loving what i do even more.

I became interested in caregiver after my father passed away at 42 of a stroke I was 16 and worked at an assisted living facility at a young age . Hello, My name is Brian McCallion. I am 43 years old and enjoy helping people. I have worked as a caregiver with my family and some friends' families, but this is my first time seeking employment outside of that circle. I have a great love for communicating and trying to improve the lives of others. My mother also told me to treat people as I would like to be treated and I try to live life by that golden rule. I have a lot of energy, enjoy communication and always put everything I have into anything that I attempt. I just came back to America after spending eight years as an English as a second language teacher in South Korea. It was a tremendous experience and it gave me real perspective in my life. I am no longer content with working just to make money. I really need to do something rewarding. Something that can make a difference in the world. As a caregiver , I am an excellent dependable worker. I have been certified since 2015 with private clients and nursing homes. I assist with Dementia Alzheimer's and Arthritis disease with daily living needs. I have been traveling since the age of 3 with my dad that's was a diplomat therefore I came across different cultures. I'm an open minded person and caring. As a west African , you are taught to take good care of older/ ill people as your time will come one day and you would wish that someone has the same kindness towards you. I also took care of my grandmother as her personal aid, I would take her to her doctor's appointments, keep track of her medicine intake. I speak French and African dialects fluently.

I am resilient, flexible, empathetic and a caring person who wants to ease the struggles of those who depend on extra care for their daily activities. I was attracted to being a caregiver when I spent my summers caring for my own grandmother who unfortunately struggles with diabetes, arthritis and Cushing's syndrome. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the smile I put on peoples faces when I brighten their mood with quality time and specialized care for their needs. My proudest personal achievement is being the fisrt in my family to attend college.

I'm a lactation consultant by trade, with experience in private practice as well as public services. I've recently worked as a PCA providing support with ADLs. I work as a teaching assistant with special needs children. I'm a helper by nature and love being able to give what I can to help others. I hold a bachelor's degree in public relations and psychology, with other basic medical training.

I first became interested in the field of home health care when my grandmother fell and broke her hip. After her surgery she returned home to her second story apartment alone. I came to care for her as much as I could, but living across the bridge in another state, I could not make it every day. Her social worker told me about home health care and I hired a part-time caregiver for the times I could not be there. I had no idea such a thing even existed! I eventually took a course here in NJ to become a Certified Home Health Aide. Helping my clients with the things they needed help with in the comfort of their own homes is a satisfying job. I am able to give them assistance without them having to move into a nursing home, which many clients fear. Elderly people and handicapped folks should be able to remain as independent as possible. When they cannot do something, that's where I come in.

While volunteering as an EMT for the past year, I have developed a passion for helping and caring for people of all ages and conditions. Throughout my experiences on 911 calls, I have learned how important it is to be considerate and warmhearted to patients because of how much it can inspire hope in those who need it. I would like to continue doing this with a more individualized approach, where I would be able to create a more personal relationship and positively impact their life.

I have always been the type of person to want to help other people. I began caring for others from the time I was 15 years old, babysitting and nannying.
