I am compassionate, empathetic, understanding, hardworking, and I love to help others. I am willing to do whatever I can to help another in need. I learned how to take care of others by taking care of my younger siblings, babysitting for my church members, and through taking good care of myself. I've been inspired to be a caregiver growing up with multiple nurses and health care workers in my family. What I enjoy most about caregiving is nothing I get in return, instead it is the fact that I'm doing something that can better another's life that makes me feel purpose. The achievement I am most proud of at the moment is completing my Health Science Associate's Degree at RVCC.

I am an experienced caregiver accustomed to providing direct care to assist patients in the activities of daily living. My love and compassion for the vulnerable population attracted me to being a caregiver. I love it when patients attain their maximum functioning level. When they progress from a state of being dependent to doing things on their own. I am fulfilled when total care are executed and followed in accordance to person centered care.

Im very passionate about taking care of people especially old ones. I live with my parents who are working class and I'm used to doing all the house chores and assisting in every way.

As a professional caregiver, I've worked in different environments such as private homes, facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and assisted living caring for seniors with the following conditions or needs: Stroke, Hip Replacement, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson, Disease and more. I've been certified for about 10+ years. I enjoy providing assistance to seniors such as bathing, grooming, dressing, daily hygiene care, feeding as needed, ambulating, positioning, laundry, light house keeping and more. Besides the fact that I love working in the health care field, I'm also a mother to two beautiful boys. As a health care worker, I believe my job has played a significant role in being a parent. One of the valuable thing that I've learned from my job that has translate to my personal life especially in being a parent is the importance of patient. I would like to work for your loved one because not only am I patient but also caring, reliable, responsible, trustworthy, enthusiastic individual with great communication skills and also believe everyone deserves a great care no matter the age or health status.

Experienced, compassionate, certified CHHA, and reliable caregiver with over 10 years of experience. I have been caring for family members for 5 years and have professional experience caring for elderly with an agency for 6 years. Throughout the years caring for elderly, my favorite thing ever to do is when I can cheer up my clients and from that, I made my life time best friends. In the past, I've assisted clients with their daily living, engaged in conversations, taken viral signs, prepared meals, maintained a clean household, reminded my customers to take their medications, took clients to appointments in my car or their car, and as always it depends what the client asks for. I try to connect with my clients by participating on their favorite activities whether that's going for a walk or joining them to classes or clubs. It's my passion to take care of people and I have a lot of love to share.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and being a caregiver is such an honor. I get joy knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless, and for me that's what caregiving is all about. I'm most proud of the time when I became a med tech for behavioral health because it allowed me to participate in the patient care plans and follow MAR's.

First and foremost I am a human being. I am also a mother, sister, and daughter. I am also a friend who lived with an older friend who died of cancer. I helped with every need of hers until she passed away. I still think of her daily. My best contribution was laughter. I feel now that I a m turning 40, we will all be in the same boat one day. Most of us have lost the art of caring for our older generation. Although it is a job, I feel I learn so much about life through their stories, and life experiences. I enjoy little things, like reading, cooking, looking at photo albums and another lost art of "listening".

I became a caregiver to improve lives. I like interacting with clients and helping senior citizens. I was a nursing student. I hope to become a nurse one day. I spent half of my life in South Carolina and half in New Jersey.
