I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience. I have experience taking care of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's Disease and elderly mother who recently suffered a brain stroke.

My expertise is in behavior modification strategies utilized in assisting clients challenged with neurological impairments including Dementia, Parkinson's (PD) and Autism (ASD) with anxiety reduction and increased ease of routine activities. Competent in assisting clients with limited mobility, speech and hearing deficits. I have experience using mechanical mobility equipment - including Hoyer lifts as well as adaptive communication devices and American Sign Language (ASL).

I have experience caring for patients suffering from alzheimer's, cancer, schizophrenia, incontinent, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure..etc...my abilities rangers from Simple meal preparation, light house keeping n even companionships. I have worked with adults in the past with many different disabilities and have a heart when it comes to my patients. I love being a caregiver because I have a big heart for the elderly as well as mentally challenged adults, I enjoy listening to there stories of when they were younger and how the world has drastically changed..I learned from past experience how to crochet, I find it relaxing and love to make new things. I've been a caregiver for 9+ years. I love assisting, walking, talking, enjoying the company of others and just being there in silence if that's what is needed. I live my life with integrity while giving others all the respect they deserve. I respect the difficulties aging brings and those who struggles with disabilities. I had surgery 25 years ago and being dependent on another was a humbling experience. On regaining my health, I went to nursing school, however, the trajectory of my life cut that dream short but haven't denied me the capability to make a difference. I've worked privately these past 15 years in the homes of a few, and today my family comes in all colors. My two recent clients had asked me to stay with them to the end, which I honored. Today, their children stay in constant communication and we visit each other homes. The extra love has been my reward in honoring what I do.... when I see my Jewish and German families.

I became a caregiver 10 yrs ago when my dad became very ill and subsequently passed away.I enjoy making a difference in someone's life.I am proud of the fact that I have raised my children to be responsible,productive members of society.I Enjoy traveling and meeting people.

I became a caregiver because my roommate is old and handicapped and he was the one that introduced me to it. He said I should get paid for doing something that I do regularly, which is cook and clean. My proudest moment was when I was able to be focused when my roommate had a triple bypass on me the first week of Covid. He has since healed and 100% recovered. I learned so much and realize I have a hidden skill set. Which is being a caregiver. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, making people feel calm and protected.

Working in a nursing home has taught me how to care for different types of patients.

I took care of my Grandmother who Dementia for 5 years until she passed and after that I decided caring for people that are ill or can't help themselves is what I want to do with my life. So I quit my job as an Office Manager and started working for Serv Behavioral Health with people who had mental illness for a year then I decided to leave that job and started working with Touching Hearts at Home it was much more rewarding. I am a very compassionate person and dedicated. If you think I am right fit I will care for you family or friends like I would me own.

I became a caregiver becasue nothing is more important to me than gving back to other that have less. My most pleasureable outcome of my career experience, is seeing a smile. Personal achievement is my dual masters degree in science and administration. I am a new mother, i moved to NJ three years ago, and i love what i do.

I really enjoy taking care of the elderly or those who can't do for themselves. I feel like it's very important to always give quality care to patients at all times without prejudice or discrimination. The last client I worked with was a conginital amputee. Working with him made me appreciate simple things like giving someone a hug or even scratching an itch. I especially enjoyed taking him to college and watching him graduate and for two years of his life I was able to help him achieve his goal of becoming a Game designer. I've loved helping people all of my life and I take great pride in my work. I will do whatever I can to make sure your loved one get's quality care and is treated with the up most respect. If I was in this for the money then I picked the wrong profession. In my 22 years of caregiving I've never had a complaint and there are no blemishes on my record. I look forward to giving quality care to your loved one.

To me a caregiver is someone who is compassionate, sensitive to others feelings even it is not verbally expressed, someone who is observant and attentive. I confidently believe I hold those qualities. From the age of 12 I have watched my mom take care of my ailing grandfather. I can say I have learned a lot from observing Her take care of him with diligence. In 2004 I too was placed in a situation where I had to provide care for my ailing father. After he passed away I promised myself to continue. I am currently a laboratory technologist where I am responsible for providing blood products to hospitals. Specifically patients with various hematologic disorders. My next step will be Med school or PA school.

I started being a caregiver when a good friend of my had spinal surgery and no one was there to help him. After that my father became ill with cancer, when he transitioned on, I decided to make the service of others my career. I find it to be very satisfying, to help people who need some to be there for them when no one else is. When working with patients, I would change diapers, make beds, give baths, and feed them along with some light cleaning, shopping, and accompaniment to doctors appointments. I had one client who was bed bound due to a stroke, she also had bed sores, and many rashes. She needed to be turned every 2 hours, her bed sores were the size of a half of dollar and as deep as the length of my thumb. After my service with her over a period of two years, the sores had closed completely. I am a very caring, giving, and compassionate person who believes that if I can not do my job to the very best of my ability, I do not need to be in this field. I love what I do, I believe God created me to do this job, that is why I am so committed.
