I have more than 13 years of experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community, and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well-being but also for their quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one-to-one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort, I feel like my day was a successful one!

I am looking to acquire a long term position as a part time job working with the disabled. This is a position where I can utilize my past experiences as well as gain new ones. "9 years" of knowledgeable success when assisting developmentally disabled adults and children when it comes to helping them with in their home or out there in the community. "8 years" successful experience in customer and support service needs and recognized strengths in warehouse maintenance, grounds maintenance, cleaning maintenance, building maintenance, carpentry work, electrical work, and auto care. Coordinates with occupants and does the work when scheduled. Possess in great organizational skills. Excellent work knowledge when operating both lawn equipment and power tools. Healthcare is my passion, I enjoy helping and caring for others. I've been in healthcare for about 20 years. Currently I am working part time with Syngery Homecare however, I'm looking to broaden my horizons seeking more clients . Hi! My name is Brianna and I am twenty one years old, ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to help people in the nursing profession, by age 10 I knew specifically I wanted to work with the aging population. I am currently finishing my Human Services degree and then I intend on going to nursing school to fulfill my dreams! Growing up I saw my grandma be a caregiver, and I enjoyed going with her to sit with these people and talk, play card games, or do activities. That sparked my interest but what has kept me in care giving is the connections I have made with the individuals and their families! I believe this is very rewarding.

I love my job as a caregiver! I love helping those who need me! It makes me feel whole and accomplished as a person. I have a huge heart for caring for and helping the elderly. My best accomplishment is becoming "friends " with those I care for currently in assisted living and dementia care. I know it can be difficult but I love what I do! My mother had dementia and I wanted to help those in need. I want to help them in their daily lives and hopefully help them stay at home longer. Assisted living facility that I work with currently, is great! But I'd like a more personal care setting.

1 why did I become a caregiver....I was a caregiver way before I became certified I think I was 13 when I started caring for people its in my nature to help because I love it. it makes me feel good I can help someone that cant help themselves 2 what do I like about being a caregiver....I like helping people I like learning about the person because everybody is different there stories there history where they came from rich/poor how they got to where they are what they use to do 3 what is my personal achievement that I am proud of .....I would say my CNA CERT because the first time I tried to do the training I ended up with pneumonia so I tried it again got all the way to the testing part and ended up late started early but ended up behind a school bus in the middle of winter and made me late so I was failed so tried a 3rd time and passed at the top of my class with 100% 4 tell something about myself ....I started out in factory work and hated it wanted something that was always changing something that I could grow with so in 1995 I took myself and a friend to an agency to do there HHA training and passed and in Nov of 2012 took a CNA training and passed I would like to go to school for dental assisting next or massage therapy
