Iam a CNA and what makes me a great caregiver is thay Im very patient compassionate and empathetic so when I care for my patients i put myself in their shoes and try to give them the best care i can give. Why I became a caregiver is because not many care givers are kind and loving toward their patients and I would like to show them that their are care givers out there like me who do. One of my proud achievements is being able to complete my CNA training. I didnt know I would manage butI did with the grace of God so I'm very proud of that. I'm multi lingual ( bemba, nyanja, lamba and not so fluent chinese).

My name is Chyanne Ross and I am 40yrs old. I became a caregiver professional after taking care of my grandmother for some years. I wanted to be able to care for her correctly and to do the best for her. This was my gift to her because she mattered more to me and I loved it, challenging but nevertheless rewarding. I am working in the Elderly Care enviroment for 7+years and in so gained much professional experiences. I am knowledgeable and skill in activities of daily living and using different techniques. I can accurately measures, records and reports vital signs, finger stick and blood pressure. Measures, reports and records Intake and Output, performs ostomy and colostomy care and performs simple dressing changes. Apart form care-giving I am a dance teacher to kids from ages 5 to 11. I'm outgoing and love adventure.

As a child I had a great relationship with my grandfather and he taught me the basics on being a nursing assistant. When he passed the feeling gave me the ambition to go out and help the less fortunate. I adore the fact that I get a chance to bond with the people that i care for. I am a people person and I love to be in the company of others. Obtaining my Nursing Assistant Certification was one of my greatest accomplishments. I am a 21 year old hard motivated worker that takes initiative and takes pride in handling my responsibilities.

What makes me a great caregiver is my big heart and bright personality. Im very understanding to the needs of others. I am a Certified Nurse's Assistant with a special interest in serving the elderly. As a college student, during summer breaks, I enjoyed working as a nurse's aide in a retirement home in my home town. I have also worked as a senior caregiver and companion for seniors through a large agency in New York, NY. Currently, I am privately employed part-time by a lovely couple in their 80's, and I am seeking an additional part time client. I very much enjoy the company of seniors, and believe the wisdom they have accumulated during their lives should be respected and admired. I am a very warm, patient, and compassionate person, though I also have a good sense of humor and love to laugh with my clients! Having worked as a creative therapist I like to come up with unique activities to engage in with my clients, and always value their input into how we spend our time together.
