Watching my father survive pancreatic cancer for 18 years, I decided I'd rather be with people than sit behind a desk in an office. I enjoy listening to client's life stories and making their current situation more comfortable. My current client calls me Dimples since I smile so often. We engage in stimulating intellectual and physical activities according to her ability. For the past four years I have helped enable her to stay home rather than moving to a facility. I am a Stamford native, studied at Colgate University and love the Japanese culture, needlepoint and singing.

I am a compassionate and dependable professional with a strong background in caring for seniors through my full-time work in a long-term care facility, where I oversee food and nutrition services. As a Chef by training, I graduated at the top of my class and take great pride in preparing meals that are both nourishing and comforting. My experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of patience, attentiveness, and respect when supporting older adults. What draws me to caregiving is my natural nurturing spirit and my genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others. I enjoy building meaningful connections, listening to stories and providing comfort and companionship. Whether it's preparing a favorite meal, offering a kind conversation or assisting with daily needs, I find fulfillment in making someone's day a little brighter. I am known for being resourceful, reliable, and attentive to individual needs. I bring not only practical skills, but also warmth and empathy to every interaction. One of my proudest achievements is graduating at the top of my culinary class, which reflects my dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence --qualities I carry into my caregiving work every day.
