Hello my name is saquana clanton, i work at stafford hospital the reason i love being a caregiver is i love helping people i enjoy being a listen ear and helping people feel love giving empathy and compassion cause sometimes people dont have families or they family cant make it to see them so i love to show patient that i care for them and make them not feel lonely.I love the feeling knowing i make a difference in someone day

Being a caregiver is something that comes natural to me. As a young girl I watched my mom care for our elderly relatives and neighbors. I was always happy to assist her with helping others who couldn't help themselves. I enjoy showing great companionship to my patients. I love listening to their life stories, it helps me with getting to know and understand them. I treat patients how I would want someone to treat me or my loved ones if we were in the condition. The best reward I get from being a caregiver is knowing that I was able to help give someone a better quality of life because they're no longer able to do it on their own. I always be sure to treat my patients with respect and dignity.

I'm a people person and I love working with the public and helping others. I've been a caregiver for 25 years.

I became a caregiver about 3 years ago after I suffered My younger brothers death to Lukemia. I was only 19, and felt helpless because i couldn't do much to help him except quit school to be there for him full time, and I was. I love the feeling of being able to help someone who is in need. If I have a way to provide someone with services they need and I am able I am more than willing to go above and beyond to do so. I am personally proud of the fact that every patient I had ever had thought i was an amazing caregiver to have been so young. I always made sure appointments were kept and follow ups were made. And even when my hours were up and my patient was not back home after the appointment, I would gladly stay with them even though i was never paid over time. I bring with me the energetic spirit that many ailing people love to have around them. I am very optimistic and very organized and feel that I am perfect for this career choice. I am currently in school for medical billing and coding at night.
