I'm a great caregiver because I treat my clients as if they are my own family. I'm precise. I love taking care of seniors, or anyone who needs care. I have patience. If you pick me you will not regret it. I can start as soon as possible. I don't drive yet but I do use the Lyft car service, they are very reliable. I also take care of children or pets ( dogs or cats) I will create a daily care plan if you don't already have one and I also provide daily documentation of all interaction with the client.

Questions 1-4. 1- I have 5+ years experience working as a caregiver, I'm patient, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy and flexible. I enjoy taking care of the seniors that I work with, my goal is to help them regain there independence. 2-3 I enjoy working with seniors it has been rewarding and a blessing, to make a difference in the seniors life I care for. 4- The time spent working with my Alzheimer's/Dementia clients.

I am originally from New York, I have just recently moved down here to Lake Worth, Florida. I am an extrovert and love working with people. I am highly motivated, responsible, and can always be depended on. I am a quick learner and am always open to suggestions on bettering my performance. I take pride in being a caregiver, it is so rewarding for me to be able to put a smile on someone's face and know that I am making a difference in their life. I am CNA certified in the state of New York and am currently 6 credits away from my bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences from Manhattan College. I am finishing these courses online from here in Florida so that will not interfere with work. I became a caregiver after my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer .I wanted to make a difference in caring for seniors. I did my training in Personal Care Aide a 40 hour training course year 1993 approved by new york state department of social services. I started working as a PCA caring for the seniors. Over the years my Clinical skills improved tremendously, I developed impeccable skills in caring for the needs of seniors at home. In 2005 I did another training, Nursing Assistant I obtain my licence, and took a position in a nursing home. I worked there for one year . I realized while I was working at Shorefront geriatric nursing home. My call was to care for people at home. I was glad that I received a great experience in working in the nursing home with seniors with different diseases and disabilities.. I have upgraded my PCA Certicate by taking a 43 hour hours of traning in Home Health Aide... Occasionally I may get an offer to work one on one in a hospital setting... For over 10 years I have have worked with seniors at home with Alzheimer , dementia, parkinson, stroke, cancer, arthritis... Providing care , bathing, skin care, dressing, nail care, meals, errands/shopping, laundry, light housekeeping, leisure outings, accompany to doctor's appointment, board games, companionship, medication management, incontinent care, feeding, assist in walking, range of motion, assist in wheelchair in and out bed, tube feeding, catheter care, ostomy care, and companionship.. MY AVAILABILITY MONDAY - FRIDAY Live-In or Live- out 8am to 8p or 9am to 6p I am flexible with the days and hours Alternate on weekends.
