I am a Certified Emergency Medical Tech as well as CNA . I have found many interest in the medical field , that's why I am always looking to broaden and expand my horizon . I have been in the medical filed since 2016 when I came back home from college . I find a lot of interest in helping people whether its kids, elderly or adolescent and middle age . I am a very caring people and I love to help people wether it's the simplest things where as to helping with feeding , clothing , housekeeping , bathing , and just to talk to and do daily activities . I feel everybody needs an companion and deserves one .

What attracted me most about being a caregiver is helping the elderly. I love to help them achieve goals and it makes me happy seeing them happy.

I've been a caregiver going on 6 years. It's a joy it's more than a job and I'm a proud healthcare worker.

I started working in senior care a few years ago and really found what I'm passionate about. I made a lot of great friends along the way. I was working in a assisted living and later moved to memory care. Working with residents with Alzheimer's and dementia was challenging but I loved it. I try to let them stay independent but help with things, they need some assistance with. I love challenging to puzzles and word searches to keep their minds shape. I'm very patient as I should be being a mother of 3. I'm great at redirecting a resident who gets upset or confused. I see my residents as family.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am passionate about my job... it's more like a honor to me to work with elderly and disabled people. It helps build your patience, your emotions, your empathy, The way you care for people.. I feel like you have to have a heart to work as a care giver or aide it's a special job. What makes me a great caregiver is that i am a very patient person who carefully makes sure I'm reading medications thoroughly and i am always happy to work and help people.
