I am a very passionate about caring for others. I am an empathetic, caring person by nature. I am trustworthy and dependable. I have a vast amount of experience due to the fact I am a former nurse. I love getting to know people and am very good at helping patients formulate a routine that is both realistic and ideal for their circumstances. A plan that takes into account the family dynamics and is mutually beneficial hopefully.

Gaining employment as a caregiver has provided me with experience working with patients and families who are caring for a loved one who is overcoming the challenges of chronic illness. As an experienced caregiver, I have also learned firsthand the toll that caregiver burnout can have on loved ones. That is why I strive to be dependable, respectful, and to eliminate as much stress as I can on both the patient and family that I am responsible for. What attracts me to being a caregiver is the ability to learn about the unique needs of my patients. As a future physician, I am eager to deliver healthcare to people from all walks of life. However, the quick nature of medicine can sometimes make it hard for providers and patients to connect and discuss underlying issues in one's life. As a caregiver, I am able to not only care for that individual, but learn their story, better appreciate their accomplishments, hobbies, and limitations, just like I would my own family member. Ultimately, being a caregiver has allowed me to build a longer working relationship, develop my bedside manners, and grow alongside my client. Earning admission to medical school has been one of my great accomplishments, and my current and future experiences with caregiving will only help me to better serve my community as a doctor.

I have worked in skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, home care agencies, and hospitals. I've worked with a wide range of people from newborns to senior care. I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Health Science. I have a certificate in Gerontology. I'm also STNA certified. I have CPR certification. I have my 2 dose covid vaccination. I'm a great Caregiver because I have compassion for helping and taking care of others. That is my gift and I enjoy what I do. I like to put a smile on people face. I am outgoing, kind, compassionate and observant. As a teacher of 30 years I learned to anticipate needs and adapt when necessary. I first learned caregiving assisting my grandmother, who provided home nursing care for relatives. I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital while in college. Later in life I have provided hospice care and home health care for family. I take pride in my work and keeping elders active in their own homes.

I have been working in healthcare since I was in high school. I love caring for and assisting people. I fill my free time with volunteer work, coaching cheerleading and gymnastics, being the room parent at my daughter's school, and activities at the American Legion. I'm laid back and patient, which seems to fit well with home healthcare. Also, I just returned from volunteer work in Jamaica. It's definitely my calling to work with people!

Because i enjoyed helping and caring for others ,who have trouble helping themselves. IF all went well you achieved a goal and you were satisfied and felt good and you made some difference . there have been so many , but one lady was very tired out and need help with her husband that had dementia,i would come over and help her so she could nap in the day ,she need it so. I have three great adult children and iam a beautician.. recently I recently I finished a job with a client that had dementia her husband cared for her for years prior to her demise I did two years of care with her she lived in bed most of the time I did personal care she was such a pleasure. I have three years of Care on a alzheimer's unit when I worked in Orange Park Florida we was strictly for Alzheimer patients in the house was quite a challenge worked 12 hours hour days I have worked in healthcare for 30-some years starting in the early 80s and now and Home Care quite a variety of care in the hospital under acute care and in the homes with acute care patients coming out of the hospital I'm familiar withdifferent medications and their reactions I'm up to date on my CPR and all of my continuing education I also carry Insurance on myself through the state liability in and out of a home

I have been a CNA for 3 years, i'm CPR and FirstAide certified. I like to take the time to actually get to know my clients, i'm confident in what i do. I'm well versed in most tasks that I will be doing. I have my own car, I have no problems going grocery shopping or doing a few errands.

I treasure time spent making others' lives easier and more meaningful. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them.

I have a background in caregiving of all types : newborns, toddlers, teens , special needs, all the way up to the elderly . I prefer to care for the elderly because I've always had a special bond with them. It warms my heart to care for them and listen to their stories. I think all older people deserve so much respect as they've been through much more than you or I. They certainly deserve to go through their final years on this earth with the utmost dignity , which is oftentimes, hard to find amongst many caregivers in a public sector. This is very important, and I think it matters just as much as the healthcare, in itself. As long as you have all of those elements in place, as well as someone whose heart is in the right place , you are on the right track . I hope to meet your loved one and care for them. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I've had a passion for it since I was 14 yrs of age when my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease back in 2002.
