I was a critical care nurse for 12 years in Orlando Florida, I am retired . I took care of my father with cancer for 6 years and my mother who had cancer a stroke blind in one eye for years. I also help the Amish in Ohio with elderly care medical instruction and medications. I enjoy working with elderly people and being an individual with mild fibromyalgia myself I understand and can relate to a person experiencing pain and disability. My mother was a nurse and worked until her 70,s. I worked in the funeral industry 6 years after retiring from nursing. I attend church pre-Covid on sundays and enjoy my grown grandchildren here in Greenville. I prefer to work afternoons and evenings or weekends.

I moved to the Ocala area last year with my old draft horse. I need a part time job to cover her expenses here. I live just a few miles from On Top of The World. I have reliable transportation for medical appointments. I can clean, cook, help with shower or bath, empty catheters and ostomy bags. Pet care is also welcome. I can also do small repairs in your home. I'm a very effective advocate for my elderly mothers health care. I enjoy people. I have a holistic view of health. I think positive social contact, fresh air and good nutrition are important for all of us. If you're able to swim I'd be happy to help you get into the pool if cleared by your doctor. I have seen that be very helpful for joint pain and mobility issues. If you'd like to furnish the veggies and fruit I have a Vitamix. A green smoothie every day is a great thing. I think staying in your own home is the best place to be if possible.
