My name is Nichole Burgess. I am a professional caregiver who has 10 years experience working with clients. I have a masters degree in forensic psychology and an associates degree in science. I have worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years. I enjoy helping people and providing services to those in need. I am self motivated and like to encourage individuals to do their best. I was attracted to being a caregiver due to my ability to nature others. Having a large family is why I enjoy being helpful. I am able to supervise patients and provide them with 1:1 care with little to no distractions, I am great with being a team player, and communicating with team members. I have the ability to provide emotional support and companionship to individuals who need care. I have the skills to develop treatment plans as well as the knowledge to execute and perform care plans. I understand the importance of exercise and having a routine to ensure that daily living activities are performed. Building a rapport with the patients is just as important as open communication. I am educated and aware of HIPAA Federal Laws, and I respect and understand that it was created to protect the privacy of patients' health information. I understand that certain information can not be disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge. I have 3 years working in a facility setting. While working in a facility setting, I have worked with individuals who have had mental conditions from dementia,Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, and depression. I am trained in de-escalation techniques as well as interventions, and the majority of my training was provided through my employers, as well as my education. While in school I studied Latin, and Spanish.

I love to work with older people I have a passion for them in my heart. I have seen to many of them not have a family and I seen others that have family and they need help just like everyone else. I am working on my CNA as we speak. I have taken care of my grandpa and grandma until they passed on and I enjoyed sharing memories with other people. I am caring and loving and dependable individual and willing to help out whenever I can I will also go that extra mile to take care of my clients to make sure they are well taken care of.

I'm a very caring respectful trustworthy loyal person. I give anything I do 100% no matter what it is. I love working with and caring for people no matter what the situation. I just love putting a smile on people face and showing them that they are loved. I believe that everyone deserves to have happiness and should be given the upmost respect.

I am a 37 yr. old mother of two teen daughters, very active in my church organization, and I am compassionate about anything I do. I became a caregiver because, after graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration with Healthcare concentrate, I noticed the way the care was being giving at various facilities and I felt that if I could be of service, then that's where I want to be. I enjoy being a caregiver, most of all because I feel that we are more than care providers. To some of the clients, we are the only smiling face they see all day, and we provide companionship, friendship, and inspiration. I am most proud to say that in one of the organizations in which I was employed, I was awarded for my organizational efforts and skills, as well as my skills in Administration and management with regard to facility/house maintenance.

I am currently in college to become a nurse. I have 2 years in general studies. I also have a degree in medical assisting. I have 20 years of experience in caregiving and also gave care to my grandmother who passed away of lung cancer. I am very compassionate and have empathy for all of my patients. I am very dependable, loyal and honest. I love caregiving and taking care of loved ones. I will care for your loved one, as if they were my loved one.
