I am a kind and loving person who has always had a heart for serving seniors and their families. I have 20+ years of experience in Senior Healthcare settings in a variety of positions, also specialized training in issues surrounding various types of dementia and cognitive issues.

I'm responsible, dependable and care about my clients. I am State Tested Nursing Assistant. I have four children, and three grandkids.

I am a very dependable, compassionate, responsible woman. I have many years of experience working with the elderly ranging from rehabilitation assistance to dementia care. I have always been a "helper" and this type of position comes naturally to me. My favorite part of working with the elderly is hearing about their childhood memories. On a personal note, I am proud to have been a " Big Sister" to two amazing young women.

I just LOVE taking care of Seniors. I have numerous years of experience caring for seniors. I took good care of my stepdad until he passed last year. I have experience taking care of a senior who is an amputee, diabetic, hearing and eye site loss. I take care of them like I would want someone to take care of me. I have experience putting them in and out of bed, cars and pivoting them.

I enjoy helping others in a variety of capacities. I have worked for a handful of individuals who have had SCI's and am constantly amazed by their determination and their ability to continue on with life. I feel that I am constantly learning and would love to pass on my knowledge to others. I feel that my job isn't "cookie cutter", it is truly about making the life of my client easier in whatever way possible. No task is too small if it is what needs to be done. My parents taught me two things that I try to incorporate into every job that I have. One to leave things better than you found it, and to do what needs to be done, before you are asked to do it. I am very good with details, and while it may take me a day or two to learn a new schedule or program, I know that I will be doing it the way that you want it done. With my experience with SCI, people don't have a lot of control over their own lives, and I make it my first priority to give as much of it back to you as I can.

I thoroughly enjoy working with the geriatric population, dementia and Alzheimer's being my favorite diagnoses. I am a registered nurse and clinical counselor and enjoy both careers, however at this time I am taking a break from both to take time to focus on myself. I am willing to work with either males or females in any capacity that will help the family. I have a lot of flexibility related to my schedule. I look forward to working with your loved one.

As having an "empathetic personality", I feel caregiving has always been the best fit for me. To feel what my clients, or clients families, are going through; to have the compassion to give endlessly is the greatest reward of all! What attracted me to being a caregiver was my first job, as a caregiver for people who have developmental disabilities. Since then, I've never looked back. I am currently in college for early childhood education, after graduation I plan to take my degree into the Peace Corps, where I hope to teach English, as well as work in orphanages globally. I'm a fun and very loving caregiver. I've been doing this for almost 10 years now and nothing brings me more joy than the actually seen the smile on someone's face May realize how much less should care for and try to help them.I chose to become a caregiver after my grandmother fell ill and was diagnosed with cancer, every since that day when I was a child I made a it dedication to my life to work and help others heal. I would say that the greatest perk about choosing me as a caregiver it is other than being a nurse I'm also a biochemist and I specialize in genetics.

Gentle at heart, tender in spirit, generous and kind to others. I am an empathetic and compassionate young female. Taking nursing as my major in college has been the best decision as i am able to provide holistic care to anyone in need of care. The rewarding feeling that goes along with providing exceptional care, both physically and emotionally is what keeps me going each day and fuels me to perform that task over and over again.

I have always enjoyed helping those in need, I value every human and I believe that everyone deserves the best support and help they can get. I love working with the elderly and making friends with them, my grandma's husband recently passed and I spent a lot of time with him helping with his needs and such. I am willing to work around schedules as I have a flexible schedule. I am patient and love working with my clients. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and going on outings. I am a very independent person , I am caring & passionate about what I do. I make sure that things are done right and properly & to make sure that the resident feels comfortable with me as well. I did some STNA work a couple times and I know some of my family and friends do care giving also that's what attracted me. I enjoy being able to help clients to feel the best way they can possible, I enjoy just helping all around. A personal achievement I am proud of is completing my first year of college , while doing Stna & working & keeping my grades and staying on top of my school responsibilities as the year is soon to be over.
