I am a compassionate and caring guy who puts the needs of other people first. When I'm taking care of my patients I always treat them with respect and provide the care I would want my parents to receive one day. I find enjoyment listening to stories and learning about someone's past. After not knowing what I wanted to do in life I am glad I have selected nursing as I do find joy in helping others.

I have been in the caregiving field for 5 years. I recently just my can. I am a very reliable and caring person. I am a fast learner and know how to give outstanding care.

After working in a life skills class as a student mentor, I discovered my passion in working with people with disabilities. That has since expanded to geriatric, memory care and end-of-life care after spending a few years working for the aging/developmentally-disabled population. I have experience working in-home, alongside family members, and within group-home settings. It is my goal to help those I am caring for live the life they want to live. I encourage others to get out and about, make friends, and explore all this city has to offer. I have strong interpersonal skills accompanied by a warm, positive attitude. Once I develop a stronger relationship with those I care for, my silly nature begins to creep out of hiding. I love to listen to music and dance/sing while working. Although I do not play any instruments myself, I am quite attracted to live music and you can often find me at a music venue in the evenings after work. I am always "the-more-the-merrier" type of person and welcome anyone I work with/for to join me on outings if they like.

The reason I became a caregiver was because my little brother needed help to take care of him. He has cerebral palsy, shunt, g tube, baclofen pump, and to control his seizer. I took care of his medications and feedings and also do his meal preps by having his milk every 3 hours going through his g tube. I take him to his doctor's appointment and therapy. I wanted to help not only him but also myself to learn how to take care of someone who is in need of my help.

I love to care for others so much that I am making a career out of it. ( I'm also in nursing school). I love to show companionship and care to people who need extra attention in their life. Everyone deserves to be treated like a person and given respect no matter what is going on with your health. I have been a caregiver for almost 5 years now.

I have been doing caregiving since i moved to Grants Pass in 2014 and find it very rewarding i enjoy spending time with my clients and listing to their stories my last client is 105 and i have been with her for 5 years but she fell and broke her hip so she is in a different facility now so i am looking to move on to a new client i really enjoy working with seniors and have helped other seniors and vets with their daily living in between working with my 105 year old. I am compassionate toward others and very caring towards others i have great references with the other families i have worked for. I fell i can make a difference in my clients life making them happy and i have a good attitude and am very caring with my clients

Caregiving is rewarding as a career in that it gives you joy by allowing you to make a difference in peoples lives. The actions and efforts you put forth as a caregiver provides an essential peice of our human need for love, empathy, compassion. True selflessness, to do for others, simply because to give is to truly receive.

Hi my name is Allaynnah pronounced Ah-Lay-Nah and I am 27 years old, a new mom to a beautiful 3 month old baby boy, I am engaged to my soulmate and have a heart for caring for people. I was raised my my grandparents primarily and helped all of them though cancer. I play guitar and write music as I learned it from my grandpa. I also have helped my grandpa with his diabetes and dementia. I am the oldest daughter of my family so from a young age I have always cared for my younger siblings. I love helping people as it is one of my love languages and have a heart for those in need. Something I am proud of achieving is graduating and completing my first year of college in the course of 3 years. I work well under pressure and love to try new things.
