It is important to me as a caregiver that I support and promote independence. My objective is to provide safety and security while ensuring my client's dignity.

I chose to explore the field of caregiving after being a witness to the wonderful, private care my grandmother received toward the end of her life; I wanted to be able to give families and clients the peace of mind and compassion they deserve. I was mentored by one of her caregivers and went on to work with her for several years as she referred me to clients both long-term and short-term. In May of 2023 I also became trained as as an end-of-life doula through INELDA. I'm patient and creative and enjoy getting to know my clients and tailoring their care based on their specific needs. It is important to me that everyone involved feels like there is a good connection between all of us so we can have a great working relationship!

My personality traits are dependable, proactive, loyal, and consistent. My consistency is what makes me a great caregiver as developing relationships with clients would be in vain if they are not nurtured. My desire to encourage others to believe they are great is what attracted me to caregiving. I enjoy most the friendships I make in caring for others. My personal achievemt was realizing I am here to help promote togetherness.

I love being a caregiver for several reasons! The first, is that at the end of each day, when I am tired, I can know with certainty, that I did a good thing today. I made someone's life better today! My efforts had a definite effect. I am also, by nature, patient and willing to listen, kind and willing to help, and gentle and willing to be careful. I was attracted to being a caregiver by the thought that I already knew how to care for people (I'm a mom, and I used to have a daycare) and I could use those abilities to benefit someone else.

Hello there, I'm currently a Nursing student at Warner Pacific. However, have had a lot of experience as a stationed and traveling CNA, helping residents of all ages and circumstances. I love my job and thought I would broaden my horizons with this platform-- helping families and individuals with care in the comfort of their home.

I am very patient with both children and seniors. I have worked with both. Personally speaking, I enjoy helping both children and seniors with whatever it is they may need. Making sure they feel safe and comfortable is my main priority.

I am a great caregiver because i am very compassionate and very patient with my residents. I am loyal and dependable and enjoy the company. I love being a caregiver because i enjoy people and helping them in time of need. What i enjoy most is being there for them and knowing i made a difference. My personal achievement i am proud of is finishing school on my own and moving to Oregon on my own and making it work.

When it comes to my personality a word I hear a lot is joy bringer, I try and have a more positive outlook on things and am very active. I am currently living with my grandparents to help provide them care and help around the house when needed. I am drawn to to being a caregiver because of the people, you get the opportunity to hear stories, and spend time with those who need you. As a current caregiver I love that I can give back to those who have helped me, but I also feel that it provides a great way to understand someones journey. And I love being apart of others journeys.

I am 47 yrs old. I love being a caregiver because I will be around people and can help them as they cannot take care of themselves . I love helping others be comfortable and happy.
