The personality traits I feel help me be an excellent caregiver include being compassionate and kind to each individual and their family members. I want to be a welcome part of the family and bring an element of calm and confidence. I know this can be a stressful time for the person in care and the family so I want to assure them I am always focused on the health and well-being of my clients. I bring a creative and engaging style to my interactions and try to be responsive and flexible to the changing needs and feelings of Seniors in my care. Trust is very important to build so I am reliable, professional and sensitive to privacy issues. I enjoy being a caregiver because I can see the joy I can bring and the positive change I can make in a Senior's life. I am most proud of the deep bonds I form with my clients and their families and the truly positive feelings we share , I am also proud of the long term relationships that develop . With some clients and families, we are approaching three years working together. This is a very enriching life experience for both myself and my clients, who become like family.

I became a CNA at the age of nineteen in Oregon. I have 20 years plus experience as a caregiver. I enjoy my job and I believe it shows in the high quality of care that I give to my clients. I'm flexible and willing to accommodate my clients and their loved ones even the ones with 4 feet. I will go the extra mile when needed.

I became a caregiver because, I love to work with people. I like being a caregiver, because it is very rewarding. I am proud to have gotten my CNA and CNA 2. I love to work with home/ health and hospice the most. I have worked with many hospice patients and I am very good at working with the families of hospice patients too. My passion is hospice although I have worked with many kinds of patients. I have worked at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg for seven years, from 1997 to 2004. I have done private paid jobs and caregiving jobs. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer patients, too. It doesn't matter what kind of patients I work with, because I have a passion for nursing. I am a very caring and have a bubbly personality and have excellent references.

Hi! My name is Lacey. I feel my patience and kindness are two of many attributes that make me quite an exceptional care provider. I am CPR certified and have advanced first aid skills. I would say I am most proud of my time as a volunteer firefighter because not many women can say they have had the honor of experiencing such an honorable position. The thing I enjoy most about being a care provider is getting to know new people and building relationships with them through providing quality care, companionship and just getting to know the individual and what makes them happy.

Nursing Assistants Are All Heart Currently, I work as a CNA, licensed through the Arizona Board of Nursing since 2011. I work as an independent contractor in the West Phoenix area caring for the healthcare needs of the elderly and disabled. Services provided vary according to the level of healthcare the individual needs. I am skillled in personal care, mobility management, memory care, and hospice. My mission is to provide compassionate, highly skilled nursing care while focusing on patient safety, and promoting an atmosphere of dignity and healing. I originally chose to train as a CNA in order to enter the healthcare field as I intended to continue my education to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner. Throughout my college career I have maintained a 4.0 GPA with honors. I chose this field because it is my passion in life and my God given gift to care for others. I take pride in what I do and the people I do it for. Someday, I will take my skills and my heart to the mission field.

I started caregiving when I was 18 years old. I am currently 45. I have worked with all types of medical conditions. I enjoy working with people, elderly people hold a special place in my heart.

About a year ago I began taking a CNA course through a local nursing home. I completed my course and my clinical, then I worked as a NA for about four months. While working my residents loved me and always made me feel appreciated. I loved being able to help them with anything they asked!

I enjoy the greetings I get each time I enter my clients home, knowing she feels completely safe in my care. I enjoy our daily routine and the opportunity to engage and be a part of her as well as her families daily lives. I became a caregiver when my friend asked me to assist with her mother after she moved in. Where we were once friends, we are now family. My client loves the fact that in the 19 months I have been her caregiver, I have never been late, but am ALWAYS early. That is something she loves about me. A personal achievement of mine is I am happily married and a mother to 4 wonderful children, 2 of that are disabled we own 2.3 acres with a beautiful home and we are mortgage free. I love helping people. My relatively short experience with Benco in Corvallis prepared me with extensive training and certifications providing direct support for intellectually and developmentally handicapped clients. I served in a facility where clients were not ambulatory, and unable to feed or bathe themselves. We were dedicated to providing the best care and daily experiences for our clients. It is very fulfilling to know that in spite of any physical or intellectual limitations, our clients enjoyed outdoor adventures, daily walks around the neighborhood, music and book reading time, excellent personal hygiene, and frequent interaction with staff who truly cared about them.
