My name Is Myani I am 21 years old . I have been in the health care industry for over 2 years . I am very respectful, responsible, caring, supportive, lovable etc. I love to help others I enjoy company around me and I love to communicate.

Here are some of my best traits that makes me a great caregiver. I am dependable, compassionate, trustworthy patient, and attentive. It is imperative for a caregiver to be dependable, to show up at work on time to provide the care the person needs and counting on. While my time working for kencrest service, I am in a position where I have access to: belongings, money, personally and confidential information for the person being cared for. It is crucial that the caregiver be someone who is trustworthy. While my time at kencrest and throughout my years of living I have never or will never breach that trust by taking advantage of the person being cared for or anyone. It is important that caregivers are attentive. Being attentive I notice when the person I am caring for has unusual behaviors, change in moods, daily routine, emotions, and physical changes. I am patient, I understand that when being a caregiver things often changes, things may not go as planned. I am compassionate, I understand others point of views and what people go through. What I love most about being a caregiver is teaching. I have mostly worked with people who have intellectual disabilities. I believe they are capable of learning that caregivers have to be willing to communicate with them constantly. To be willing to teach. During my time at kencrest I have taught them to be comfortable with communicating more. I can say I am most proud that one of my consumer uses her words more. Since I have been constantly encouraging one of my consumers to speak, that she speaks more without me having to ask her to. I am also proud that I taught one of my consumer how to say "girlfriend." I believe when you are constantly interacting with consumers they tend to pick you on the words that's being constantly said. Being a great caregiver has plenty of traits
