I've been working in the Healthcare field since 1996 and became a Resident Care Assistant/ caregiver with 9+ years of experience in offering exceptional care to clients and residents. My name is Shana I became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2011 and have been working in this field ever since. I love working with the elderly because I feel they have so much wisdom to offer and by helping to care for them I learn new things. I'm a compassionate, dependable, fun loving caregiver with over 20 years experience. At the young age of 20, I got my start in home care. I then received my CNA from St. Mary's Manor in Pa but obtained exceptional training and experience from The Hospital of the University of Pa, where I worked for over 13 years. Since leaving HUP, I decided to go back to where it all began, home care. I also love children and decided to be a nanny for a few years. Although I LOVE being a nanny, I'm back to my passion and where it all began, home care. It's very rewarding for me to be able to offer my patients/clients the best care possible and many happy memorable moments.

Things about me that you would like to know would be that I'm a 18 years old looking to work. I love kids and animals . I'm really good a cooking and keeping things organized and clean .

I am a very compassionate person and enjoy being able to assist others . If I can put a smile on someone's face for just doing a minor thing then I'm happy as well. I understand everyone gets to a point where they may need help and if I can be that one then I'm happy. I understand how an older person gets frustrated because they can't do the things they use to do and if I can assist with that whether it be something very small or something bigger and it makes that person happy then I feel good.

I am a very kind, caring, patient and compassionate person that allows me to empathize and be sympathetic to my patients. I have been in the medical field my whole career. I have always been drawn to the geriatric population. I enjoy working with the elderly. I enjoy listening to them and keeping them company.

I enjoy being a caregiver because i love caring for other's/ elderly. I enjoy making them happy and seeing how much i can help them on a daily basis.

I think what makes me a gray care giver is I find peace and enjoyment in helping others in ways that they can't help themselves. What attracted me to being a care giver would be my grandmother who was a nurse for over 30yrs. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the satisfaction my clients have with my and to see how much joy it brings them knowing they have someone to care for them not because they're forced, but because they genuinely love to do so. I Enjoy Helping & Encouraging people on a Dalit living. I love working with people making them smile & enjoying the day. What attracts me to being a caregiver is people, being there for one another. The interaction and making someone day is the best part about the job.

I enjoy being around people and making sure they are happy and living comfortable Interacting with seniors and listening to them tell stories. Finally getting my drivers license. I enjoy being around my family and friends, I don't have any children only my two dogs They are my kids. I attend church regularly, I'm on the church choir and the Pastor Aid Board and apart of the group destiny seekers working with youth in the church. I love to Cook and host family dinner.

I would like to say I'm a people person I enjoy helping others from companionship to shopping for you or being there for you , also I put everyone needs before my own and that makes me happy to know your safe and healthy.
