My name is Miren Aguirre and I am a 33 year old Medical Assistant who worked for an Allergist for 3 years. As a Caregiver I am focused on caring for the elderly. When I was very young all my grandparents passed away robbing me from having them in my life. I currently work part-time as a receptionist at Adonis Hair Salon in Marlton. But something is missing from my life, the Cargiving aspect. While being able to be a caregiver, your aging loved one's happiness and quality of life are always my priority. Also if there is God-forbid to be an emergency I pride myself on always keeping calm and knowing what to do when under pressure. As the family member looking for a Caregiver you need someone that you can trust and know that has your aging loved one's best interest at heart and you will never have to worry about this with me. I would love to be the one you pick as your Caregiver and take care of your family as if they were my own. I now work for a quadriplegic client who i, change, take care of personal hygiene, medication maintenance, companionship, mobility, etc. I only take care of him on the weekend nights so it shouldn't interfere with your family if u were to be interested in me.

Some personality traits and expertise that would make me a great caregiver are that I have empathy, compassion, attention to detail, commitment to patient advocacy, caring, great communication, and stamina. As for expertise, I have worked in every setting of caregiving such as facilities, in home, group homes, clinics, and more. Also, I've worked with intellectual and developmental disabilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, and middle aged. What attracted me to become a caregiver is coming from a background of medical family history. All or most of my family are in healthcare in some way. Also, I took care of my grandfather for a long time as he was sick most of my life. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being a companion for the consumers. I love to hear stories about when they were younger and build bonds and help put some of their struggles at ease to where they can obtain ways to start doing more for themselves with my help. A personal achievement I am proud of is giving a consumer who had Parkison's a voice.

I love caring for people I'm a loving mother of 6 children 2 of which I have adopted & I started doing home care at home for my father-in-law and I enjoyed being able to help him that's when I learned that I would be a great caregiver as time passed I started working with an agency. In 2013 & then I went to Prism Career Institute to become a CNA. I love what I do and I enjoy being there for others to inspire encourage and support those who need my help.

I've known I've wanted to work in healthcare since I was 14 years old. The summer of 7th grade my mom who was a caregiver too had one of her clients come spend a few weeks with us after she broke her hip. I was old enough to help then and in doing so I discovered my passion.
