What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aide (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a pay check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.I also work on a Dementia/Alzheimer's unit as well at deermeadows. However I got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aide Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.

Hello my name is Tyaria Woodberry and I have been in the field for a little 3 years in total I love what I do so much, it has been in me every since I have a little girl. The personality traits that lives in me and makes me a awesome caregiver would have to be that I have compassion,I have a positive drive, and definitely and good heart. When you are caring for other you must have a good heart it won't go right if you don't thats my opinion. I would have to say the part where you are helping make someone else life run a little more smoother that's what got me drawn to this type of employment. When I was coming up I always said no matter what kind of job I worked I want to give back and this is my way of giving back by someone companion and by giving them a daily reminder that things will work out for the best. What I enjoy most is building a professional relationship with my clients so that they can feel comfortable with me and like me enough to where is as doe is something is wrong with my client I would be able to put it up because we have such a good relationship. The personal achievement iam proud of would definitely have to be myself because being able to make a change in someone life whether it's big or small that's means that iam doing what I am suppose to be doing and while I was doing it I left a positive impact in someone's else life while doing so if that make sense and it makes my heart smile.

I became a caregiver because i love people and nothing feels good than having a Nursing Assistant who understands what you're going through. I love being a caregiver because i have the chance to help someone. I love to make my clients smile, it makes their day and makes a difference. I always helped on my job the no matter what the job is. Due to the Coronavirus I'm only taking clients in south Philadelphia right now.

What I like about being a caregiver is the emotional attachment and how much Im learning. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I've been raising 4 biological children and 2 adoptive children on my own. I've been through obstacles and have gotten through them all

I became a caregiver a little over ten years ago when friends and family members would tell me constantly how patient I was with the elderly. And I really enjoyed helping them. With my last employer I held the position of Head Caregiver which allowed me to visit with all of the clients which made my day.
