Taking care of my grandparents kept me upon my journey to help others. I enjoy meeting new people and learning of them things they like to do and what they're life was like I love hearing stories, I also would love to continue in the health field to become a RN one day to continue to help others as well.

Hello My name is Modina, I've been a CNA for fourteen years. What makes me a great care giver is I possess at least two traits that you would want a caregiver to have when taking care of your loved ones: 1) Compassion 2) Empathy. By showing both compassion & empathy that will let my clients know that I care about them and I want to help them in any way possible. I became a caregiver because I enjoy working with the elderly and enjoy flexibility and independence in my work. I also like developing caring relationships with my clients. I like being a caregiver because I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life, I also like the one on one interaction with them. My personal achievement I am the most proud of is seeing my son walk across the stage and received his high school diploma. My personality traits that I think that makes me a great caregiver includes but not limited to: Patience, Compassion, Empathy, Attentiveness, Dependability and Trustworthiness.

I became a caregiver because am passionate about helping people especially those who are unable to help themselves to achieve their daily tasks.. I been a caregiver now for 11yrs and I usually been caring for adults (senior citizens) I enjoyed hearing their stories. There were a couple that I used to work for, they met in new York during their freshman year; they became friends but didn't date till during their senior prom night in high school. They got married and have only one daughter.. they we happily married for 76 years. Sadly, the husband passed away in 2016 and few months later the wife also passed.. they were my all time favorite couple...

What makes me a good caregiver I'm a loving and caring person understanding hard worker and team player I enjoy helping people been in this field for over 18 years I was awarded caregiver of the month with open systems I I put my clients Care at the highest prodigy to ensure them that there are getting the best of care also CPR first aid certified

Sensitive when it come to the elders, they needs, I love helping, caring for them, talking to them etc.. As a kid growing up I lived with my grandmother and great grandmother and I was a big help to them, one got sick and I felt like what can I do to make her better. Being able to put a smile on ones faces, companionship, again as I stated before being a help to they needs. That when I start a new job, my work ethics speaks for itself and I'm noticed and appreciative to them. I'm a proud of myself for being there for others

I became a caregiver simply because I enjoy being able to assist others with the daily living needs that are difficult for them to achieve on their own. The thing I like most about being a caregiver is being able to learn different things about people and making a difference in someone else's life. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to grow in the field I am in despite the downs that others wouldn't be able to withstand. One thing I can say about myself is that I am a easygoing and I also have a high level of patience.

I am a caring and loving person, who thinks and care about others and their well being. I've been a personal caregiver since 2010 and I had to stop because my client died in 2012. So I took a break, because I will get attached to that client and make them part of my family. And I have experience in home care and personal care, I'm also certified in adult residential care, by the state.
