Hi. I'm Alicia. I am creative, funny, honest, open minded, caring and dedicated to helping others. I love to have the ability to help other's no matter the age when they need it that is what motivates me to be a caregiver. I love senior citizens because they paved the way for me, so being a caregiver is a way for me to show my appreciation. I truly enjoy bringing a smile to laughter to a patient, I always want my patient to feel comfortable and safe to be themselves with me. I am proud of myself for never giving up during challenges and for pushing myself to be better and learn.

I believe the qualities that I have is what makes me a great caregiver. Having patience, being attentive and dependable are all things that I bring to the table. Also, I am currently a sophomore Nursing major at Carlow University so, even as a caregiver I will be able to apply my knowledge of nursing into the care of my patient which is beneficial for the both of us. Not only do I take pride in my job but making sure my patients believe they can trust me, confide in me and have a compassionate relationship with me are my main goals.

What makes me a caregiver are the qualities I have and the passion I have in doing my job. I love nothing more then to help those who need help because everyone doesn't have someone. Just knowing that I can make a difference matters too me.

I have only been a caregiver for 3 short years but it has been the most rewarding job. I am a kind, calm and understanding person so that I can help anyone to the best of my ability. The main reason I got into caregiving is to help those who cannot help themselves anymore. The most joyous part of the job is getting to know the people I take care of, getting to know their past and making a connection with them as a caregiver. Hopefully I can help your loved one too!

I am a single, full-time mom of a 6 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I have several years of care giving experience, not to mention the best experience to have - being a fulltime Mommy! I have live and traveled all over the world. I have a love for people and different cultures. I'm never down or depressed. Living in America no one has a reason to be. My family tells me I have a knack of making anyone smile. I value that. My grandmother and mother are Rn's. I chose to go to school for nursing because there is such a need for health providers that truly care.
