I became a caregiver after taking care of both of my grandparents and it made me understand what it was like to have someone who really cares for a person made a difference in their life. The one thing i like about being a caregiver is knowing that this is one way that i can give back. The one personal achievement i am proud of is all of my experience that i have been able to gain in my journey of taking care of someone who needs a person like me. I made the decision to continue working with families because everyone is comfortable in their own home versus any hospital. I am a mother, a daughter, a granddaughter, aunt, and i am very passionate about what i do. I was raised in the south so my respect goes a long way. I am a medical assistant and this was one of the main reasons why i felt that doing a little more to give back would be rewarding to me. I enjoy all aspects of healthcare and i appreciate being appreciated. My personality and goals go hand in hand because if i was not able to give back i would not feel like i did any justice. I love helping others and i wont stop unless my health says otherwise.

I have been in healthcare for 39 years . I worked in a hospital for 36 years. I have devoted my working life to the care and comfort of the sick and our wonderful seniors. My mother had a stroke about three years ago I have been taking care of her for that long she doing better so now it is time to go back to work. I went back to school and became a cardiology technician I had a halter monitor I had to scan .The patient was in a third degree av block I called the cardiologist on call the patient had a pacemaker put in that night.

I became a caregiver because I really enjoy helping others and I always have since I was younger. I have compassion and understanding to any and all needs. What I like about being a caregiver is that it can be very rewarding and so many ways that you can not put a price on the overall experience that being a caregiver gives. The feeling you have at a end of a day and the warm smiles you receive is just a reminder of why you love to be a caregiver. My personal achievement that I am very proud of is when I received my Associates Degree in 2010 in Medical Administration at age 34. I have a twelve year old daughter named Jenna and on the A-B honor roll who is proud of her mother becoming a caregiver and also wants to grow up to be in the medical field. She would always help me study during college when she had time. I am a very caring and understanding person who will always have a smile on my face. I enjoy being a caregiver and would one day like to continue my education in the medical field and become a L.P.N.

I am extremely proud that I pursued my dream of working in the healthcare industry as a medical assistant for 5 years, and I have completed a CNA course. 4. I am a loving and outgoing person, I can't help but want to put a smile on someone's face, and promote good habits to be in good health and great spirits.

I believe I was destined to become a helping hand for any living thing on this planet ever since I was born. I graduated LPN school in late 2013 and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I have worked with infants to elderly in all sorts of situations in my roughly 1 year of experience thus far. I like being a nurse because in the end I know I have helped this being out with anything, even such a thing as a glass of water, and that is enough to give me the satisfaction that I am doing a great thing and brings me happiness. I am proud of what I am and the lengths I will go to, to help a person out. I became a caregiver in high school, I devoted my junior year to taking the nursing assistant course for an entire year over doing what most typical teenagers desired to do with their free time. Most of my passion comes from the diagnosis my mother received abruptly of Multiple Sclerosis. I learned from home health nurses how to provide care and I knew then that my heart was set. I love the difference I can make by just holding a patient or client hand when their loved ones can not. I love that I can give the time, patience, understanding and skill to make the patient/ client and their family comfortable and at ease. My achievements are not finished however, I am attending school to be a Registered Nurse which I plan on continuing my education from there. As for now I would like to keep working with patients as I train to do more in-depth work in the medical field. I have never desired to want to be anything but a nurse and I am certain I will not stop until I meet my goals.
