I'm also attentive and patient when it comes to assisting my clients with activities of daily living. I took interest in caregiving because my mom was a CNA before furthering her education in the medical field. Over the years I've grown to love what I do. I became certified in the late 90's to become more knowledgeable of the care that my quadriplegic father needed. I have worked in hospitals, nursing home and private care settings. I find home care to be the most rewarding. It is easier to care for and assist someone in an environment known to them. I find gratification in helping other, after all, is that not what the Bible instructs us to do.

Hi my name is Shantavia and I'm the perfect candidate for a caregiver because caring for someone who needs it is the most important reason why I'm on earth today. Everyone wants to be needed from someone. I enjoy meeting different people from different backgrounds. The word caregiver speaks for itself loud and clear to me, caring and showing compassion to someone that wants to be love and have the feeling to want to really live in this crazy world. Caring for others have always been my passion specially the geriatric population. I started working as a CNA in 1995 doing private duty. I enjoy putting the smile on someone face, helping others when they can no longer help themselves. I was placed here to make a difference in others lives and to me that's one of my greates joy! I worked as a Special Needs Assistant in the school system. I have a disabled older sister I help take care of so I decided to step out on faith and I became self employed. I've been a caregiver/ Companion for over 20 years part time. I love what I do and that's working for families that depend on me cause I'm dependable and I love what I do. I received my Certification as a CNA in 2011 and I just received my Associates of Arts/IT on February 14, 2021.

1). I took care of my two parents for more than ten years. As my neighbor got older she to was welcomed in to my home. At that time their were three adult's in my home to take care of. 2). I enjoy helping people. 3). I am most proud of my son who is now 30 years old. I am also proud of the fact that when I was 10 years old I remember my mother and farther say that when they got old they did not want to be put in a nursing home. I was fortunate and was able to care for them in my home. 4). I am a hard worker. I am a very compassionate person. I take pride in the work that I do no matter what it is. I am easy to talk to. My name is Yvonne DeLancey. I had been taking care of my parents plus an elderly neighbor or 2007 until 2014. I did everything from making and transporting them to appointments, making and planning meals, handing out medications, personal hygiene ect. I am a very good person. I love to help. Hello! My name is Reanna. I am a current college student majoring in nursing and psychology. I have been a nanny for the past 7 years and now recently caregiving for 3 years. I have worked with kids and elders for a long time and I absolutely love every minute of it. Being a caregiver is more then the duty's that's need to be done. It is more then just assistance.
