I recently graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Human Nutrition. I am from Cary, NC, and will be around during this summer before I attend medical school at the University of South Carolina in the fall. I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for 3 years in college. I am CPR, AED, BLS, and first aid certified. As an EMT, I am used to handling large responsibilities. I have worked with individuals with various disabilities and independence levels. I have a good driving record and am willing to provide transportation to and from various locations in the area.

I am someone who has a family member who struggles with dementia and I want to make the lives of the other family members easier. Not having to worry about your loved one while you are away is what got me into caregiving.

Hello! My name is Marybeth and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am a kind, energetic , sensitive and compassionate person who is a natural caregiver and helper. It is just part of my personality to care for others. I stayed at home to raise my three children, (one who was terminally ill )and it is what I have gone back to school for as a non traditional student. Seeing others at their best, regardless of their condition and having a positive impact on others is my definition of success. I am most proud of being the first to organize Nashville, TN's first walk event to raise needed funds and to promote awareness of childhood cancer. The event was totally pro bono, as I was able to get everything needed donated absolutely free. From the event venue, food, drinks, prizes, entertainment, equipment, advertising, etc. In less than a month of planning, we raised over $40,000 for research . The event was unforgettable, where people came together to honor and support loved ones , past and present , in their fight against childhood cancer. The love was palpable, and something I will never forget.
